Muyuri Indian Bistro

This is one of my favorite restaurants. The staff is genuinely courteous and helpful every time. I have been here several times in the last few years and every time is better than the last. You are allowed to BYOB and they will even supply glasses for you if you choose to do so. Additionally I had a birthday dinner here recently and my mother brought a cake which they allowed to be lit and eaten at the table. I would highly recommend this place to anyone that enjoys high quality Indian cuisine with a friendly and caring atmosphere.

This is my go to Indian spot! Their food is incredible and their staff is lovely. We order take out from them about once a week and are always just as happy as the last time.The vegetable samosa are to die for. Take out is always ready pretty quickly and tastes just as incredible at home. 10/10 recommend!!

I worked in Waterbury and needed food one day. Being a picky eater, I decided to order from this restaurant. I have nothing negative to say. The space was clean, the music great and the food was SO GOOD. I will eat here every day if I could afford to LOL! The server was so friendly. This place is worth the drive and visit. FYI, I have visited other Indian restaurants in New Haven, Westport and Milford. Nothing compares to this place.

While the food was delicious( I had the curry chicken with Basmati rice) while i waited, i ordered a shot of crown royal apple. As i drove away, the text from my cc company came through stating how much i spent at Muyuri…$16.10 for the shot glass of Crown Royal - that’s 4 times the price and I’m a little offended. My lunch was $40 Which I didn’t mind. Good food, just don’t drink!

We were never greeted as there was no host available. We waited around hoping someone would come out to seat us however that never occurred. We could hear indviduals in some kind of ongoing conversation in the back. We have 4 in our party. It's a shame because the interior was very pleasant. It's unfortunate that we were not able to eat there. This should be a restaurants busy hour being that it was lunchtime so we really don't understand why this happened as there should have been some patrons. Hopefully all is well and you can resolve the issue sooner than later.

Staff is very friendly and they do their best to serve you! Place looks very clean and fancy. I order chicken biryani and I believe is over cooked and missing flavor I found one clove and no cardamomo I’m not sure if all types of chicken biryani are supposed to have this ingredients and once again I feel they shouldn’t ask how spicy you want it. I forgot my credit card and they keep it safe until I realize it was missing! Very very good employees! Thank you
