What a fabulous find! This little place had friendly and efficient service, (Thank you manager Joe!) it was spotless, and the food was delicious. I was on a road trip across New England and wanted to stop for a lunch break at someplace with a local flair. I could not have picked a spot with a better vibe nor better food. I will make this a regular stop on all my trips from now on!

We all know how good Frankie's is, so I don't need to echo that. But I wanted to commend this particular location for their outstanding customer service, especially with the curbside option. Even if it's busy, they NEVER, EVER get an attitude or leave you feeling neglected or dissappointed. Other fast food places should take notes because Frankie's does a stellar job when it comes to customer service. (I only wish the drive-up situation here was easier, as it's tough to pull in and out and then wrap around to the fire lane, but again, the customer service makes up for it). Skip that dump Burger King and come here instead.

Outdoor parties are big this time of year, so I'm going to make a couple of posts of popular caterers. Frankie's Family Restaurant is one of them, bringing their famous hot dogs to your backyard, along with hamburgers, onion rings and fries. Staff sets up a grill, double fryer, and folding tables for plates, plastic utensils and toppings. We went to a birthday party yesterday who used Frankie's for their event, and the food was just what you want on a sunny afternoon. The crowd went through a lot of hot dogs and burgers, and the staff was very friendly and efficient. Definitely a fun option for hosts who don't want to cook for a gathering themselves. # This is the other Frankie's that is a storefront restaurant in an outdoor shopping center. We prefer the original Frankie's stand with outdoor seating but the food is equally good. Even though it was pouring rain and Mothers Day, it was packed when we went in. No seats were available as we waited in line but some opened up by the time we got our order. Two original foot long hot dogs and an order of onion rings. Though they have over a dozen ways to order a hot dog, burgers, lobster rolls, fried shrimp and clams and sandwiches are available, too. Free popcorn. The decoration inside is very amusing. The small eatery is packed from floor to ceiling with old family photos and paintings, nostalgic items from the past, collectibles, patriotic tribute boxes, ceiling mobiles, etc.

Loved their pork bean hot dog! Their sweet potatoe fries were delicious! Husband ordered hotdog with coleslaw and pulled pork, it was good too! Will definitely revisit. This lunch hit the spot! Woohoo FRANKIE'S.

I work for a group home company and every Saturday one of my clients goes to Frankie's for lunch. He is disabled and behavioral so it's easier to go through the drive thru to get our food. We are not allowed to order and pay for food together due to money tracking policies, everything needs to be in separate transactions. Today when we went to the drive up to place our order the person taking the order gave me a hard time because I asked for 2 separate order so I can get myself lunch. I was told, "we don't do that, we will make an exception this time but next time you need to come inside" I was trying to explain to the staff that I had a handicapped individual with me and that's why I couldn't go inside. The staff member rudly cut me off and asked for my order. There was no line at the drive thru and no reason to be so rude. I've gone here before and had no issues placing 2 separate orders and definitely never had issues at the Chase Ave location. No other establishments we visit with a drive thru gives us a hard time. They should reevaluate their staff training at this location.

This is a great little place. The staff are so nice and friendly, right from the people taking your order to when they bring it to your table. They even asked if we wanted drink refills and brought that to the table too! The place was also very clean and they kept it that way. I was thinking a little hotdog place would have 'OK' food but it was way better than that. The food was really good! I got the chicken philly and it came out piping hot and very tasty. My husband had the steak philly and it was just as hot and just as tasty. We also got an order of fried veggies. They were not in the least bit greasy and were very good. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised at how wonderful the staff was and how great the food was. We'll definitely be back!

Is this the best hot dog joint on the planet? Nope- however compared to most others in CT , it does stand out. Previously went to the mall location which sucked horribly, this is a dine in restaurant with drive up facilities. The service here is bar none the absolute best, kind polite staff, they genuinely appreciate your business. Attention to detail oriented, tons of options- had a regular dog and a #14 which is chili n coleslaw, the dog its self isn’t as flavorful as a Nathan’s dog per-say, but juicy. The sauerkraut is pretty good here, the curly fries were ok, wish the serving was bigger (think five guys). Overall nice place, has an interesting knights / dungeons dragons look to it, the place is clean and has no foul smells. Would return/recommend to friends!

Frankie’s has become to our place to go for burgers, price it’s about the same as your regular franchise with the only difference that these burgers are “way better”. I dare you to try them, you’ll live them too!!!!!!
