Great staples on their menu with the morning buns and focchochini, with a good smattering of weekly/monthly special items. Breakfast sandwiches, soup of the day, cold cuts...all are good. Small but great bakery and so many local places go to North Star for their breads. Service has always been great, even on the busiest of days. Easy 5 star rating on this one.

Called on a Tuesday am to get a birthday cake ordered for my wife’s birthday the following Friday.
Not knowing cake sizes, I asked for a small carrot cake. Was told they couldn’t get it done in time.
So asked how about chocolate? Was told this time they were booked all week, basically they didn’t want my business. Have bought cakes there b/4 and am a good tipper. They’ll never see another $ from me.

North Star is delicious. The pastries are lovely, flakey, and just incredible. I especially enjoy the focaccia, and soup on a cold day. The atmosphere is bright and welcoming😍
Also, the owners have always been so kind to my family. I still use the sourdough starter daily, given to me 9 years ago.🤩

Delicious baked goods...morning vanilla buns, lemon curd pastry tart, frosted cupcakes, frosted cookies, and that meatball and red sauce pizza thing, so good! I'm probably not naming these items by what they are actually called, but pretty close I'm sure.

Oh my gosh am I just in love with this place! I’ve had their baked goods and sandwiches many times and never once have I been disappointed. Their veggie sandwich is my favorite (:
Because I love their baked goods I chose to get a birthday cake through them and so glad I did. I’d highly suggest doing this for special cakes! (Cake pictures are without a filter.. it’s just that beautiful)
