Like others have said, the owner is the worst. Go on the weekends or nights when he isn’t there. Family bought an ice cream cake for us and told him we would pick it up AFTER noon. I arrived at 5 and he said he canceled the order because I didn’t pick it up AT noon. I didn’t know ice cream cakes required a doctor’s office-precise appointment. Anyway they still had it in the freezer since no one else bought it first. But it was still very overpriced. The owner always has a bad attitude and you can scroll through the other comments for more evidence of that. I get that times are tough but maybe try spreading some joy through your ice cream and not being stingy and acting like you hate life? I hope this guy finds some happiness.

With the tmobile Tuesday promotion, I came to try out some ice cream and after selecting my icecream they said I couldn’t use the 5$ promo gift card because their manager didn’t accept it. This is a promo between tmobile and Baskin-Robbins headquarters, but the store is being CHEAP and making their own rule. I wasted my time and money, I wouldn’t shop there because if there are so cheap, that they can’t accept or honor a 5$ advertising promo, they probably cut corner in food qualify in order to nickel and dime. This store isn’t going to last long with poor management, it’s unfortunate.

This location is fine, as long as it's not the owner who serves you. He doesn't want to give out samples, and when he does, it's a tiny sample, filling up 1/4 of the sample spoon so you can't actually get a good taste of the ice cream. As others have noted, his scoop sizes are tiny as well. If my son didn't want to stop by here, we wouldn't have stopped. Had he treated us better, we would have ordered more than we did.

The first time I went someone who looked like the owner gave me the smallest amount of ice cream while barely filling the cup. I got a banana barge, a choice that costs about $8 after tax. I gave it a second try and this time a teenage employee used an old mushy banana that I regretted as soon as I got home. After that I decided I would just buy my own as I would get twice as much ice cream and fresh bananas for half the price. Not worth the time and pretty consistently disappointing for a Mercer Island location.
