This is my 2nd time dining at a Slapfish, first at this location, which appears to be new to DC. As I said the first time I had their food... SLAPFISH SLAPS!!! I soo completely enjoy the Shrimp Roll with the Jerz Sauce. Fresh, plump shrimp, fried perfectly for the toasted, tasty butter roll. They also have organic, natural sodas as well. The menu has a nice variety of choices, that appeal to seafood lovers. Lobster, shrimp, fish, grilled, fried or in bowl form. You cannot be disappointed! On a mission now to find a Slapfish wherever I travel for a good meal!

My cashier was Neekoe Freeman. He was very helpful with helping me select my meal (Power Bowl) and soup (Claw Chowder), which were both very tasty. I'm happy this spot is here. Being a pescatarian, its hard to find quick delicious places with a large selection.

Our group LOVED the fish taco, fried fish sandwich, frenchfries, and unusual soft drinks. The chicken tenders were fine but all the rest was GREAT. The service was friendly and excellent and very responsive to our friendliness in return. Great find! (We almost didn't go in because the restaurant kitchen exhausts to the sidewalk and that never is appealing. Smells fine inside.)

Really really diverse menu. We each had one of the bowls and it was definitely filling for dinner without being super heavy. My fish was slightly overcooked, but could have just been the time of day/business. Would definitely go back to try more!

Tasty with reasonable price! Something you definitely want in downtown DC. I ordered fried 'fish and chips' in double (two pieces of fish) for about $14. Walked about 5 mins back to office in 30 degree weather still crispy. But I would still recommend you to eat in if you can. The fish pieces are huge! About 7 inches long. flavorful with a little bit of the normal fishy taste. Good amount of fries are all over the bottom. And the sauce is very good. The size of the meal is so big that I only ate half and saved half for dinner later.

I stopped by the other day for a weekday lunch. My friend warned me to anticipate a wait during the busy lunch hour. Luckily for us, we met for lunch at 1 PM and we caught the tail end of the lunch crowd and we were able to grab the only free table for lunch. My friend got the Hawaiian Bowl and I got the Poke Bowl. Both dishes were decent size and filled me up. The prices, though on the higher side for lunch, is in line with other seafood places. My dish was very flavorful and had enough quantity of Tuna and rice and chips. I quite liked my dish and will be back here to try other dishes :)
