Deset Ethiopian Restaurant

My girlfriend and I came here because it was 11:00 on New Years’s Day and nowhere else was open. We absolutely loved it! The food came quick and was delicious! We got the meat combination platter for 1 and it was enough to fill us both. It was my girlfriend’s first time eating Ethiopian food and she loved it. And the staff was very friendly. Would recommend to anyone, especially for a late night meal!

I was waking down the street from my AirBnB actually looking for Chinese food. I stopped a young couple and they actually said none in the area but pointed out Deset which I had passed a few times. Wonderful Chicken Tiba dish and salad.. I was in the back by the stand where they poured on the incense which I Love but many people may not enjoy the heavy smoke from the burning. I had no issue. Would definitely come back on my next trip!

I have a veggie combination with a fish wow its very delicious and fresh one order was enough for two persons but I eat it by myself I think the chief cook is professional and beautiful combination. Excellent Customer service you can not compare with other Ethiopian restaurant specially Amy Desta wow I love this Restaurant even though I live in Baltimore MD but I don't mind to drive 62 miles to get this type of special food. My Advise is to you please keep it the Standard of your Quality and Quantity including your sweet customer service. I love you all Deset family god bless

Stopped by this area to have a few drinks, waiter was very friendly and asked us if we wanted to try the tibsi (meat stew) they had, we agreed to try it and it was the best Tibsi we ever had! Even ended up ordering more because of how delicious it was. Would highly recommend to anyone in the Washington DC area looking to try Ethiopian food, the staff are very friendly and has a very welcoming atmosphere!
