My spouse and I had dinner here at the recommendation of the concierge at the hotel where we stayed. She had the surf and turf and I had the Summer Crab Fest which were both phenomenal. Let me just say that the food, ambience, and service was impeccable. Our server, Rick, was the absolute best. He made sure our anniversary dinner was everything it should be and more. We will definitely dine here again. We loved it!
Located in an art deco building DC Coast has all the looks. The bar looks like something out of a movie. Large mirrors and large ceilings this place feels like you have "arrived". Saying the specialize in seafood is an understatement, they serve the best seafood I have ever had. Downside to this greatness is the price, but a great place for special occasions.
This was one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. We had the four course Hawaiian version of their coast to coast dining series. All four courses were amazing. Of particular note was the ahi tuna poke appetizer, which was AMAZING, and the walu with pineapple fried rice and taro purée, which was also FANTASTIC.
Our waiter Derrick provided a perfect dining experience. I really couldn't have asked for anything more perfect from DC Coast. Five stars all the way.

I only went for wings but they didn't have any so I got the calamari instead. It was sooooo good. Even without the sauce it was good, with the sauce it was fantastic. It was a mistake to be there but the food was good.
I sat at the bar. Bartenders were super friendly. Snacked on the fried calamari and pouten fries which were both good. Nice vibe. Would return.
Very nice and clean. Scallop portion size was a bit small, but heirloom tomato salad was the best.
I love it!!! My fiancé and I flow from LA for a vacation and she's a very picky eater yet we both loved it the New York steak strip is to die for!
excellent food, in a wonderful atmosphere. a don't miss downtown spot. you just feel good when you are in the place.
That's too bad this place is closing soon. They have an amazing happy hour with $6 apps and $5 cocktails with quality ingredients.
