Moreland's Tavern - Washington DC - Photo album

We discovered Moreland’s during the pandemic, and it has come to represent a safe space for us to enjoy good food close to home. Delicious food, good drinks and great ambience. When in doubt, it’s Moreland’s when we’re out.
One of the best burgers I've had in a while! My partner and I stopped by for a late lunch and I got the smash burger with tots and was just blown away by the quality of the meat and the overall balance of flavors! The flourless cake for dessert was super rich too. Great food plus great and friendly
It's a really nice place, located near residential areas. The staff is super nice and kind. They offer draft beer so you have the choice to ask for a free sample of each one before ordering. Food is nothing out of the ordinary, but was really good and fast. One way of describing food is "what you ar
We ordered spaghetti with sausage and a vegan burger. Both were delicious and the wine I ordered, Pinot Noir, was light-bodied and good. The prices were very reasonable. The waiter was courteous. The outdoor seating was the way wanted. Overall, a good eating experience. Will go there again!
Went here with my boss and coworkers for lunch. Love the environment, menu and prices. The margarita was well balanced and the food was great! Highly recommend if you are in the area! In walking distance of Citi Open!
We came here because it is close to the nature center. It's clear that it's a neighborhood spot because we were not the only family with a kid in the restaurant! We were immediately seated and given water. The restaurant is pretty small, but it seemed like the staff moved quickly. We never felt rus
Just had such a great time at Moreland’s Tavern tonight. Matt, the owner was there and made it an amazing experience. My college age daughter was in town visiting and I couldn’t remember the history of the building they are in (which is a gem in and of itself) and Matt came over, pulled up a chair
Nice neighborhood watering hole and eatery. Quite possibly the only Brightwood watering hole and eatery. The beer selection is reliable. The menu is a little too limited and static but fine if you're not going there every week. Equally or even more important is the great service, reasonable prices a
Stopped in for Saturday brunch and had a great time. We ordered a carafe of mimosas, and I had the veggie hash which was amazing. There were a few families with young children, and there is a children's menu, so it's kid friendly as well.
Great experience bartenders Whitney was entertaining and friendly. Seat hoss Elizabeth was sweet and kind . Locals are a 💎 and food was unique and delicious
This place was amazing! The staff make you feel like a local and they are so kind. They know their stuff and they get you your food on time. My food was so delicious and high quality. This is a place everyone should go to!
Good casual restaurant and bar. We had the blackened Catfish Sandwich and salads which were all good. Reasonable prices. Friendly service.
I had the double smash burger. It was comprised of two good size patties. It was very good. My wife had the chicken sandwich. Some say it's the best chicken sandwich there is.
Very nice happy hour indoors or out. Great service too! Hard to eat wisely with the tempting menu options... bring your will power because I could have picked healthier options, but didn't.
Great vibe! The draft beers are just excellent. We had all assortments of food; mussels, chicken breast burger, double smash burger and vegetarian pasta! Everything was so good! The atmosphere was super friendly, even during our first thunderstorm 🙂!
Pleasant atmosphere, good service, and a nice selection of draft beers. The menu includes some appetizers, sandwiches/burgers, salads, and some entrees. The sandwiches can come with fries, tots, or a side salad. The chopped salad looked good, the shrimp and grits looked nice as well. I had the chick
Limited food menu but good for families and small groups. Nice beer selection.
A great neighborhood place for convo, food and drinks. The burgers are my fav.
Get the burger. Seriously, if you don't you are just going to stare at everyone else as they receive their ginormous, double smashed patty, dripping with cheese and all the accoutrements on a toasted bun and then your are gonna want it even more. Not that the tacos aren't equally ridiculous or that
