It's a Burger King nothing special, right? Well this Burger King is unique in it's decor. Old movie posters like Back to the Future 3, Jaws, a large shark bursting out of the wall, ET and his crew floating over you as you wait to order. They plan to remodel and probably won't keep the movie theme. The decor does need to be cleaned up but it's sad that they might remove it all.
There is also a drive-thru.
The service was fair, nothing special. I got in, and I got out with no problems.
Amazing that this place exists! Frozen in time. The 90's are alive and well in this extraordinary Burger King. The Impossible Whopper was good. The fries were delicious and definitely beat out McDonald's fries.
It's all about the atmosphere! I've been coming here for the nostalgia for 25+ years
The food is as fine as one might enjoy for fast food. It is filling and tasty.
What makes this location stand out is the Hollywood movie decor around the split-level restaurant. There used to be a kids' climbing area on the bottom level, though it was sadly removed long before the pandemic.
Much of the decor and posters have faded as well over the years; most of the posters have faded to blue hues and the "bat mobile" table on the top level (a personal favorite of mine) was removed as well, all before the pandemic began. I believe an updating, or replacing, the posters would go a long way to improve the ambiance.
The staff are still efficient, kind, and the food is ready quickly. Parking is a bit tricky in the back as it's located next to a carwash and traffic between the two requires a little patience and maneuvering.
Weird BK in Georgetown. Food and service were fine, but the inside is an 80s time capsule. It's Decorated with movie posters from the 80s and E.T. and Elliot mannequins are hanging from the ceiling. I was wondering if it used to be a movie theater at some point. Bizarre BK to be sure.
A fantastic BK!
Well, yes the location is not perfect and now that we only pick up, the drive through line starts at the street and on side-walk. The location is small and congested especially around BUT truly was handed the best wooper I've ever had. Will go back again and again!
My husband went to this location on Friday night for my Grand baby, my son and myself. Now I’m a customer that believes in telling it like it is and just as well as I can condemn for bad service I can compliment when it’s great. I LOVE BK and have for many years and a lot of times the food is subpar usually because it’s cold or the order incorrect but not This time, this location made everything the way we wanted and it was fresh and hot and I was soooooo happy and pleased. Generally when you do A take home order , it’s wrong and cold. Not here, thank you to management because you are only as good as the team behind you and thank you the team because you are only exceptional because management has a standard and it must be met everyday with every order, every time❤️ And with every Customer!!!
Hadn't been to Burger King in a while but I went back for the Impossible burger and I was floored that it tasted just like meat. (Is it really not meat..?) This place was great! In awe of the movie theme and all the movie decorations. From ET to Jurassic Park. Lots of posters and paraphernalia. Loved it!
Food was hot and tasty. Customer service was on point. Wish there were more of these around. I would argue that they could easily replace every Wendy's in DC with not a single complaint.
Very pleased with this location having a drive thru also great service. I actually got to indulge in a Taco from here that was pretty decent. My kid liked his chicken fries. I also got to try their impossible meatless whopper. Overall satisfactory experiences here.
