Nestled in the well of the JW Marriott is the hotel bar. It is a well stocked bar with a well selected wine list and local drafts, and well rounded menu.
The cuisine is of the sharable small plate variety, where you might be tempted to share with yourself. The seating is a mix of high tops and lounges, never far from. A TV, while still maintaing the feel of an old Georgetown Brownstones library without the cigars.

I was here for a work conference. Everything was fabulous from the service to the food. Jamie was a fabulous bartender and was on point with the drinks. The food. OMG. The 1331 burger and the Buffalo chicken sandwich were amazing. We will definitely be back

Came here after a work seminar. Firs let me say that Jamie the bartender (mixologist) absolutely killed it. He served me THE tastiest drink The Late Night Cap. Even with an overloaded bar,noone waited more that 2 minfpr a drink. I then had my wife order food. The Buffalo chicken sandwich was delicious but the 1331 burger was AMAZING! Not going to lie but i didn't expect it to be so good with them being that busy...Shout out to Jamie and all the staff tonight for amazing service,drinks,and food!

Just sat at the bar and had an amazing barmaid Fitsum! She was very nice and made my favorite drink even tastier! 100% recommend the 1331 even more so when Fitsum is the bartender!

Hope made my wife and I maybe the best cocktail we have ever had. Her mojito was absolutely spectacular, and she’s an absolutely fantastic bartender on top of that. Please make sure to have Hope make you one while you’re there or if you’re looking for a drink on a night out.

Omg this spot is sensational! I was here on July 4th, I came in at 9:30 pm when every one was down at the National mall watchin the fireworks, I was the only one at the bar. I Chit chatted with the really friendly bartender for a while, she told me they have my favorite beer…the Loose cannon Ipa by heavy seas, I was so pumped! And then I talked to these two great older people for a couple hours and just had a fab time! Can’t wait to go back:)

We went for a quick meal before catching the show Six. The food was fabulous. One beef burger, one beyond beef, one salmon and one chicken skewer. It was all great. The beer on tap was perfect and the service was excellent.

At $17 it is a great value for a delicious dinner.
Next time I am in DC I will be back.
Great friendly service. I am delivering nearby and as a truck driver was not dressed up after working all day, but received the same greeting the gentleman in front of me got. He was dressed for dinner. That service means alot to me.

Great bar .. Hope made the best Old Fashion I have ever had .. I was surprised.. . The service is really on point at the bar.. great selection of drinks .. I have to say the one drink that surprised me and I enjoyed was “The Avenue” even if you are not a whiskey drinker but love honey 🍯 this is a good
choice..
The Pork rinds are on point as well ..
