Masala Story - Washington DC - Photo album

We were introduced this place by our lovely airbnb host. Thank god! she did. It was literally 5 mins walking from the place. Food was decent. Nothing was overpowering. Only compain I have is portion size ;) It was small as comapred to other indian restaurant!
Wow, what a true gem in DC serving Thali style of dining in which one can select multiple options all served with Roti and rice. I had their non-vegetarian thaali, which lets one choose 2 meats and 3 veggie dishes. I would recommend their house specials of Tidura and Punjabi chicken, their Aloo and
The most amazing Indian food!!! We got the tikka masala, butter chicken and the samosa special. The flavors on everything was just so on point. The naan was soft and delicious. The spices and sauces all really worked well and that was the best jasmine rice I’ve ever had. The wait staff is so beyon
Masala story has some great options for food. We liked mushroom curry , kadhi , egg plant . Parathas were decent too. Would like to see chapati or roti in a home made flavour. But DC area has a problem with good chapati, couldn’t find it anywhere Over all it’s a nice place to grab a bite or for ta

Great food, friendly helpful staff! This place is like a cafe where you order at the front so you won't have a traditional waiter, but the staff is really friendly and happy to give you anything you need if you just ask. The food is delicious and I was really pleased to see the rice also served with
I have been to this place a couple of times and it hasn't changed. Food still great! The owners still know me.
