Some strangely divided opinions on this place, but to add mine - this is my favourite place to get lunch during the week. High quality ingredients and a very chilled atmosphere. Clean too. Plus, the staff are not overly polite in a fake way, which I appreciate. They’re a nice team. The chilled music they play instantly sets the tone for a relaxing lunch.

What a nice surprise! I popped in while walking to a chain sub shop to get a traditional Italian sub. Stopped in here instead. Far better choice. It’s starts with the quality bread l, good quality meats and the right amounts of peppers and condiments. Better ingredients make a better Italian!.

They have bagels!!! The good kind that tastes of new York, not the reheated mess most places have. Their sausage, egg, and cheese uses a mild sausage with a white cheese. First bite and I'm hooked. Delish!

The prices reasonable considering their location. The food is delicious. Be patient no matter how many people are in line (you alone). Their preparation of food is slow and steady. Delivered hot off the grill just very slow. Food still delicious and service with a smile.

While visiting the National Geographic Museum's current exhibit we wanted a place where we could grab a quick bite. I have food allergies so that's not an easy task. Luckily, we happened across this deli. The Reuben sandwich we shared was wonderful. Maybe even close to the best I've ever had. And they had bottles of Coke Zero when most places only offer the nasty Diet Coke. I give this place a big thumbs up.

Some of the best TRUE New York style pizza I have found in DC. Chicken Parm sub is also very good with extra cheese. Cheese it up, yo! Service is a bit curt, but who cares? It's not fine dining. Get over it, place your order, give money, get food. That's it.

I was a little annoyed they didn't have tuna salad made when I ordered a tuna melt but that quickly disappeared when I bit into the chicken salad melt they made me instead. The rye bread was toasted just enough and the salad was delicious. I'll definitely come here again.
