Trattoria Al Volo - Washington DC - Photo album

This place was nothing short of perfect! The pasta was cooked to perfection and the sauces were made in heaven! I can’t wait to go back when we are in town again! Don’t think about it, just go! You won’t regret it!
Great Italian place in Adams Morgan. You don’t give much from the outside but it’s quite lovely and with great ambiance inside. They have plenty of vegetarian options. We had the cacio and Pepe and creamy pesto and really enjoyed both. A great neighborhood place that we were pleased to discover!
One of the best Italian spots in DC - truly a hidden gem. Their food is consistently delicious - I love the carbonara, but my dining companions are always happy with the variety of other dishes they make as well! The pasta is perfectly cooked every time, and the carbonara is creamy, rich, flavorful
Absolutely and utterly delicious! Breathtakingly good. Never have I eaten at an Italian restaurant that had me gasp at every bite. It was clear and obvious the quality of the food and the fact that it was homemade. we ordered: See the video for yourself, the meat is actually falling off the bone. so
My meal was absolutely delicious and the service was terrific. I arrived without a reservation and was seated at a very nice table right away. The service was appropriately paced. My caprese salad and the ravioli were absolutely scrumptious.
Excellent foodage! 4 of us got the meatballs, Caesar salad, the cacio e Pepe, fettuccine amatriciana, burrata ravioli , and a duck ragu on special. Everything was excellent & we would order each dish again.
Vegetarian Food Review: Found Al Volo on Google and went there to grab some dinner. Really liked the ambiance. The bread served was no good…. Soft and nor was the oil flavoured like it could have been with the stuff in it. However the Burrata Ravioli was a pleasant surprise thus the 4 star. It wa
Food and service at this little Adams Morgan gem are flawless. Everything was perfectly prepared and presented. Small tables with an open kitchen make this place a vibrant and activated destination for signature Italian food that's elevated with class not prices. A touch of home style in the dishes
So great! The food, the service, the atmosphere. Quite easy to overlook on the street if you're just walking by but would definitely recommend giving it a try! I really appreciate that there were several good vegetarian options on the menu. Very nice as a date spot. Will definitely be back!
Some of the best pasta I have ever eaten. Forgot to take a picture of our main dishes.
Perfect food and service. The waiter is supper sweet and caring. I ordered pappardelle all agnello, seafood noodles (don't remember the name), and Tiramisu. All are delicious.
I am not usually excited about Italian restaurants, but I must say this is a grand exception. Every meal served here was perfectly well made. The servers were very helpful and sweet. The pumpkin ravioli was a treat. So is the Pork risotto. I highly recommend this place.
I was staying in Adams Morgan for a short visit to DC. I noticed a small neighborhood Italian restaurant across the street and decided to ask a colleague to join me for dinner. The service was super fast and friendly. They brought out bread immediately without prompting. I ordered a glass of win
I’ve been here a few times and each visit was a wonderful experience filled with good food. The servers are very friendly and they know the menu well. I’ve recently been back and the current host is not friendly and very rude. I’ve eaten the bolognese sauce and the ravioli di burrata. My friend has
They have very nice breads that we could not get enough of! The Pastas were homemade and all delicious, we were party of 6 (2 families) and it was one of the highlight of our Washington visit! The waiter was fun, enjoyable, and helpful! Try this while You are strolling Adams Morgan, You will get a r
We LOVED the atmosphere of this place upon entering. They bring bread and oil to the table, and it's tempting to fill up, but resist! I ordered the house red wine, the meatballs appetizer, and the cacio e pepe, and everything tasted amazing! My friend ordered the lasagna and it was great, too.
