I loved the food and it is halal! Sesame chicken is my favorite, I plan on going back and trying other items on the menu. The dine area is clean and the service was as quick as it could get.
New Dynasty is your stereotypical American-Chinese takeout. They serve all the classics like general tso, kung pao, and orange chicken. What seems to be a small, local business, New Dynasty is a better option than your neighborhood Panda Express or other chain. It’s open late and will not disappoint. They have indoor seating too. Only complaint is that they lack authentic Chinese food. I ordered their Sichuan Chicken and it was nothing close to the actual dish. It was glazed in an extremely sweet and gooey sauce, without any spice and mala. The dish was tasty but not what I expected. If the owner responds, I’d appreciate your recommendation for dishes that you offer with more authentic recipes! I’ll make sure to come back and try them.

We did takeout and brought it to our hotel nearby. Quick and easy. We walked in and ordered the meal. It was ready within 15 minutes.
Wonton soup was so flavorful and delicious. And the chicken fried rice and Mongolian beef was perfect.
Pricing is also fair for the amount of food we got.
It was almost 2100h when we ordered our meal. The restaurant closes at 2130h. The place wasn’t too full at the time.

We tried many different things in the menu. Everything came out hot and fresh. We got chicken corn soup, orange chicken, sesame chicken, fried rice, three flavor lo mein, cream cheese wontons and spring rolls. Love that it was halal since there are not much halal Chinese options in the area
This place was wonderful!! I got the sesame tofu and broccoli and substitute rice for steamed veggies, plus a jasmine green tea. The food was so good! This is one of the best tofu dishes I’ve ever had, it was still crispy and the sauce was delicious. The vegetables were done perfectly, and I think my friends thoroughly enjoyed their meals too. I will come back here AS SOON as I come back to DC. I can’t wait :)!!

So it's kinda great.
What a wonderful Chinese restaurant! The food was delicious! We had chicken fried rice and fried dumplings. They were out of this world! The people running the restaurant were so sweet!! You HAVE to try it!
First time here. Loved the food. We ordered Hot & Sour Soup, Sweet & Sour Chicken with Fried Rice and Chicken Lo Mein. Everything was perfect. Seating is okay. But very quick service.
