Board Room - Washington DC - Photo album

I went last Friday and had a lot of fun. However, it does get packed on the weekends to the point where it’s hard to find a seat. But after 11 it tends to clear out. One annoying thing is that they charge $3 per game instead of a flat rate like other places. They do have a good selection of both dri
An open, comfortable bar in a hot part of town. This place specializes in people meeting up to play board games (hence the name) but I just stumbled by because of the large TVs and my desire to not miss a certain ball game. The bartender was attentive and efficient, the crowd was cool and fun. They
I cannot comment much because I feel like I'm becoming the old guy going to bars. Nevertheless this place has a nice atmosphere and the board games made it a perfect place to spend it with others. The place was super crowded, but I felt like it was big enough to fit the clients coming and going here
Highly recommend for a meetup with friends, especially their happy hour! Fun environment with a huge selection of boardgames, board game-themed decor everywhere & friendly chill bartenders. The drinks are good & strong. My only suggestion would be some soundproofing materials would do them good. It
Board room is one of my favorite spots for a cold rainy hang. Chill and accepting vibe for every demo (not sure about kids, as it is a bar, sometimes there is a bouncer checking ID’s I believe). Board games, beer, sports, friendly bartenders. What’s not to love? They have 100’s of board games and ca
Great time here if you like to play board games and have a few social drinks. Highly recommend. They do not serve food though.
One of my favorite bars in the city. I always go at Happy Hour for the great drink prices and the free games. Overall the atmosphere is very chill and the crowd and bartenders are always friendly and respectful. Awesome added bonus that you can bring your own food! This is a great place to meet wit
Wide choice of beers and a friendly staff who helped me through my choice. I was there for the happy hour and the board games are for free. Nice environment, full of happy gamers :)
Wide selection of board games to choose from, the games are a $3 rental if you don’t buy a drink. They also have happy hour with good priced drinks.
Great bar for chill hanging out with friends. I went there recently in the late afternoon to play some board games with a couple of friends and we had a great time. We ended up sitting at the small round high top tables that’re near the bar, there was enough room for card games and battleship but I
Such great service here, always. I love their seasonal drinks (frozen vodka lemonades and boozy hot chocolate). Come for happy hour if you want to play games for free! Otherwise it’s $3.
Really nice place for a hang! I loved my group meetup at this location. They charge $3 per game after 7pm so just keep that in mind, but otherwise you can bring your own food. I will definitely return!
This was such a great find! My girlfriend and I were walking around DuPont Circle and stepped in to Board Room. There are two floors inside with ample seating. They don't serve food, but they have a discount with the pizza company nearby or you can bring in food from outside. There were a bunch of g
Pretty chill place. 3 stars on the service only because sometimes it takes a bit for the bar to notice you so you can order. But the frozen red lemonade drink they have, is pretty good (sweet). Don't get the regular lemonade, not the best.
A really cute and cheap place to hangout with friends. Some of the games were in pretty rough condition but for only $3 a game you can't really complain. It does get pretty crowded on the weekends so if you're with a big group I'd go earlier.
Very cute "living room" type spot that's focused more on gathering together instead of food and alcohol. This is the closest to a 3rd space I've seen yet that's not a park or library. Bring your own food They have TONS. OF. GAMES. Upstairs has more space for larger groups. If this place wasn't so fa
Great games, relaxed atmosphere, good prices. They bring the tools, you bring the personality. Should make for a whole house of fun if you're doing it right.
They don’t serve food, but let you bring in from other places. There’s a great pizza place right across the street. Games are $3 to rent and they have a wide selection.
