Great cozy interior. I fell in love with the decors and the little details all around the place. It feels warm and cozy inside. The location is convenient and the food is also nice

Quiet little upstairs restaurant and cafe. The Turkish coffee is excellent. Scrambled eggs & sausages is an all-day favorite. Good hummus. Red pepper starter may be best thing on the menu. Friendly staff. Good for conversation (no blaring music).

A truly authentic Turkish delight! We had the Turkish breakfast plate, Menemen, turkish tea and coffee. They served us pişi in the end on the house. Everything was prepared to perfection and super delicious.

A new favorite. Leziz means Delicious in Turkish. Deliciously authentic little place on DuPont Circle. Cozy and real, like a door into Istanbul on a DC street, like stopping by at a good neighbor’s house. The menu is simple with all your favorite staples of a Turkish restaurant available. The wine is rich and homey, the coffee is superb. The service is friendly and helpful without being pushy. There is some delicate balance and quiet dignity in this small place. Can’t wait to take a friend or two and go back! PS: ask for kofta. It is not listed in the menu, for some reason, but they have it, and is it good!

This was the best restaurant meal I've had in ages! I've travelled in Turkey and the food here is better than anything I ate there. We ordered dolma, muhammara and the grilled lamb with prunes. Everything was perfect. The lamb was so tender and flavorful. The Turkish house red wine was also very good! For the quality of the food the price was very reasonable, and the ambiance is warm and inviting. I will tell all of my friends to try it.

We came here just as they were opening and ordered from the breakfast menu. We had the platter, dolmas, and the not-to-be-missed Turkish coffee. Everything was great but the flavorful cold cuts really stood out for us. The dining area is richly adorned and is a lovely showcase of Turkish art and design. There were no other customers when we arrived but the place did get busy after a while. Service was pleasant and reasonably speedy. Highly recommended, especially for those who are curious about Turkish food!

I must say this was one of the nicest local places I have ever been. I was a little worried about limited menu. However, every single item has surprised me a lot. Very nice place where you can have conversation with friends and enjoy authentic Turkish food. Highly recommended!!

Food was amazing. Great Turkish. We sat outside and were greeted immediately. The server gave amazing recommendations for food our meals and we were not disappointed. The Muhammara and Dürüm Adana were my favorites. We decided on tasty adult beverages and the Bourbon with lime and honey were a hit. I’d definitely come back and recommend this place to anyone in a heartbeat.

We went with a party of none and we were quickly and easily accommodated. We ordered a multitude of dishes to share and that is what I recommend. They where brought one by one, so we were able to really enjoy and talk over every new flavor. The waiting staff was excellent and our every whim was catered to. I would highly recommend, even if you are only in DC for a couple days. Thanks to all the cooking and waiting staff there.
