Probably one of the best Mexican places I have ever had. I have not stopped talking about this place since I’ve tried it! Literally SO damn good! I had the mussels for an appetizer and it was AMAZING. Brothers combination for the main meal the steak was to die for. Everything was so good even the chips and salsa was bomb but one thing that I really loved was the rice… SO SO SO GOOD! it’s giving 5 star but the inside is a little crowded and small. Other than that everything was delicious.. is a little on the pricey side tho but overall 10/10.

I had an amazing experience visiting Mezcalero Cocina Mexicana in Washington, DC with Black Girl Taco Chronicles! And if you have the chance to dine with Black Girl Taco Chronicles, you're in for a treat!

Their smile, love and warmth and the great taste of food makes up for the ambiance and location. Hands down one of the best simple guacamole I have had in this area. And do try there habanero salsa - slightly of the spicier side but a maracauy drink to top it off would just make it so smooth. Their Pescado taco was the best followed by mushroom and corn taco. The chicken tinga had some weird aftertaste to it and was just ok.

This place was BOMB! We were looking to go to another place for dinner but we ended up here instead. This is one of those places where you feel the vibe just pulled you there for whatever reason. Music was also on point, and the food was delicious! Oh, and if you're a sangria fan like I am, definitely order theirs! 👍👌💯
