This self-service restaurant just outside the Georgetown University Hospital is clean and attractive and has something for everyone. It has a full Sushi Bar, a diverse Deli Sandwich and Pizza section, where you can make your choices of type, bread, fillings and topping on a small computer screen, and a lovely and diverse Salad Bar with healthy international choices, as well as a Hot Buffet leaning towards Asian selections, as well as Italian and All-American. There is Cherry Pie for Dessert. Also several selections of soup. You can eat there, or take it away, and there are many pre-packaged healthy snack and desserts. A lovely bar area has sports and news and a huge selection of drinks and beers on tap.
I tried a mixture of salads, including quinoa with shrimp, rice noodles with shrimp, scallions and snow peas, chunks of avocado and ripe red tomatoes in a balsamic vinaigrette, and fresh slices of orange and mango. From the hot buffet I tried spicy Kung
Pap Tofu, spicy green beans, and some blAckened tilapia. At about $9 per pound, I was just under. Everything was delicious.
If you are not at the hospital (it is just inside Entrance 1), you can park free, without having to feed the meter.
I would definitely come again if I am in the area.
There's a big enough buffet with both hot and cold items and a large enough select tion that just about everyone in your party can find something to suit. There is even a choice of 3-4 soups.
The buffet is delicious. Feels like a smaller Vegas buffet. Variety of hot food (not just Asian), soup, and a great salad bar. They also have cereal, snacks, sandwiches, pizza, and ICE CREAM. It's easy to go overboard with the buffet and end up paying a lot because it's by weight, $8/lb.
All day all year round on campus dining with versatile options. Buffet by the weight, noodle bar, coffee bar, Deli and a bar for happy hour and drinks. You can also find some pastries, salad bowls, fruit bowls and different snacks to grab and go. Whether you want to relax and eat sitting there or quickly get some takeout you will find everything you want at this place. Good vegan and vegetarian options too!

Such a Versatile Dining Place
Epicurean and Company is such a versatile dining place. An on-campus cafeteria cum restaurant that's also very near to Georgetown University Hotel and Conference Center and Medstar Georgetown University Hospital, Epicurean provides a wide range of food options at affordable prices.
From the buffet station, you can choose from a diverse buffet selection ($6.99 per pound for breakfast, and $8.99 per pound for lunch and dinner). The sandwich station offers hot/cold sandwiches ($7+ to $10), wraps, pizzas ($3+ per slice). The noodles and rice station offers soup and stir-fried noodles as well as a rice selection from $9 onwards. There's also a Japanese sushi station.
One might think an affordable eatery on campus might mean sub-standard food. That's not the case at all. The sandwiches are delicious, pizza less so but it's really inexpensive right. The noodles are really yummy! And while the rice selections might look dubious, it taste good too!
Overall, very satisfied with Epicurean and Company.
Its an on campus eatery. The pad thai noodle bowl is the best..... The portions are generous. They have an amazing Illy Coffee Bar & the staff are wonderful and super friendly.
I like the food here overall. Good selection on the buffet. Several made to order stations too. I tried the noodle bar recently, it was quite good.
My last review was flawed. I put too much buffet food on my plate. The price should have been 9$, which was great. I was just greedy.
There are amazing many types of food~!! So you eat you want something. And It's easy to take a walk after eating, because there's in University.
Was expensive! Had to walk through construction to get to the restaurant. Overall not that nad.
Very clean and organized. Hot food bar is based on weight which can become pricey. Offer beyond burgers, hopefully they will incorporate vegan cheeze. Breakfast-Dinner.
Good variety of foods with expected quality for buffets at lunch and dinner. Prices are fair but could be more competitive for comparable delivery options in Georgetown. Clean and comfortable seating area and hours are very convenient for university and hospital clientele.
Love this spot on campus - great to do work and detox after classes. Best part is the truly lovely and talented bartender, Janai. She makes the experience so much better and really takes care of the people who come in. Plus, her drinks are amaaaazing
