For daytime sandwiches it's a good (although pricey $11-$15 for one sandwich) option. Sandwiches are heavy, but yummy. Dinner is solid, but not special. Dishes lacked memorable flavor. Recommended for a quick, usually no-wait option at night.
Great service has a great experience. I ordered a toasted ham sandwich for my lunch break and it was one of the best sandwiches I've had in awhile. Ask for Vanessa she's such a sweet heart with great customer service she made sure we had everything we needed. The interior is really nice. Rustic chic
Pricey but amazing sandwiches. Pictured is Spring Lamb Gyro.
Food is excellent. Cocktails are perfect. Small selection of wines, but very good quality. Overall staff is very friendly. Bar tender Jason was truly fantastic, especially for an out of town sports fan. He is the reason we stayed for more (the food and drinks didn't hurt though)
This place is a creative and comfortable setting for drinks and quality food. I don't know how often the menu changes but the baby goat sandwich is quite good. The chef has a tasting menu as well.
I eat here often. They have recently expanded their menu to include pasta dishes, fries, and more. I always get the lamb gyro which is the best thing they have. (My opinion) They have always offered handmade sodas, which is good depending on who makes it. The herb fries are so good but you have to e
The G Tasting Menu is an incredible experience. The food is extremely unique and exploratory w/o being intimidating or overwhelming. The Isabella name gave me high expectations before my visit, which is usually a set up for a let down, but not in this case. My date and I finished each serving, li
vG by Mike Isabella proves that it's not only Blagden Alley's Sundevich that can make a good sandwich. My Monday night dinner buddy and I went here on....well...a Monday night and finding seats was not an issue. We give it 4 stars and here's why: 1) The sandwiches: They really are good. Each one is
Great service! I'm loving my Strawberry and Bubbles. So far the sandwiches are worth the wait. It's a little busy but the entire staff is taking great care of us.
New menu of mostly sandwiches is very tasty but doesn't present tons of options. Sandwiches are very bread-heavy (large rolls), but have good flavors. Service was great as always.
The entire team at G is thoughtful, knowledgeable, and serve up some of the best courses one can indulge in. You are doing yourself a disservice if you are in DC (or visit) without taking a night to treat your taste buds and toast a drink.
We had the 4 course dinner tasting menu for three. It was a great choice. We started with Assorted Apps - pork terrine with citrus mostarda; seasonal crostini with foie gras mousse, snapper croquette with caper remoulade, and the creamy burrata with grilled asparagus and speck. The Pasta Choices
Chicken parmesan is hands down one of the best sandwiches in DC. They recently started a local chef sandwich competition where the winner gets to donate an amount of money to charity. Great idea!
We are at this nice, affordable dinner there. Good side of town. Great service. Great food. Recommend to any1 wanting something a little different Try it out when in town
Good sandwiches. I found out that I can't drive & eat the Banh Mi at the same time. Also it's not my fav. But I could eat 25 bags of the fresh potato chips.
Have only had good experiences at lunch here. Sandwiches are very good, some of my favorites in the city. Definitely on the more expensive side.
