The steak entree was awesome. Also, the s’mores dessert was right on point. The staff was polite and the bar drinks were awesome!

Dexter and I had brunch yesterday and it was one of the best we have had in the city. From first walking to a great staff and 80's music playing, to the food, to the thank you at the end. We definitely will be back

Trendy spot in DC featuring locally grown produce and an eclectic menu. Food was exceptional and great atmosphere. Family owned and operated and set in a revitalized building, which I always appreciate. Really enjoyed this place, the berry dessert with almond cookie was delicious! Try it!

This restaurant is awesome. They get all of their ingredients fresh and local (within 100miles). Our server, Dustin, was fantastic and we were even greeted by the owner after receiving our entrees. He told us all about the menu and how it changes to fit what fresh local foods are available. We had a drink at the bar before getting a table and the cocktail menu is as unique as it is good (I'd try the vitamin V for something you won't find anywhere else). This place gets an A+++!!! Great food, great service, great atmosphere!

Terrific fresh home cooked meals! Healthy choices sourced from local farms makes the food that much tastier. I had the scallops and corn, so tasty! great gluten free and vegetarian options. The chef and owner is happy to adjust meals to dietary needs.

The staff though they always seem to be in the weeds give great customer service. Every entre is good. There is always a nicely mixed crowd which can be hard to find now on H st.

Quinoa cakes were absolutely delicious and the lemon ice-box cake was out of this world! My new go-to spot when in DC.

The food was so flavorful, well-seasoned, and thoughtful... it brought tears to my eyes. We had the grilled octopus, roasted chicken, and seared salmon. DELICIOUS!

The menu, atmosphere and overall experience were all excellent! We loved the locally-focused menu, and attention to details with every item on the menu. The house-made pickles brought to the table were a fun and delicious touch! Arthur, the owner, is experienced, knowledgeable about his craft, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a thoroughly good experience. We really loved the mushroom ketchup that went with the fingerling potatoes. The vegan menu options were fantastic as well. The atmosphere was quaint and well decorated. The two window seats were perfect! I would highly recommend a visit to DC Kitchen, more than once!

Visited during DC Vegan Restaurant Week and was surprised and happy to see the entire restaurant went vegan! Such a great way to highlight vegan food and make an impact. The food was delicious and I love that they source from local farms.

Farm to table delicious food in north Capitol Hill area. Menu changes weekly according to farm produce available and in season. All grilled items done to perfection and perfectly seasoned. Everyone loved the S'mores Pot Du Creme and everyone wanted "their own", however the waiter recommended this desert for sharing ..after trying to eat the whole thing including all the fabulous toasted homemade vanilla bean marshmallows, I wished I heeded the waiters advice..huge sugar surge...so try but please share this marvelous desert!

The quality and the flavor of the food was great! They also had really good iced tea. The portion size is fine though it feels overpriced, even for a dc restaurant. It’s worth visiting at least once. Heads up that the gratuity is included in the bill even if it’s not entirely clear when you are paying. We had to double check when looking it up.

We LOVED DC Harvest’s menu for vegan week! Tons of great options. The BBQ carrots and grits were phenomenal, I really hope they add it to their regular menu. Dessert/drinks were so well curated. The space is beautiful too!

We recently had dinner and drinks at DC Harvest and all I can say is we had a wonderful experience. My wife has Celiac and there were plenty of gluten free options. The owner was extremely knowledgeable and even told us about some gluten free products that he uses in all his dishes. I highly recommend this restaurant for a truly amazing experience, not just another meal.

An absolutely amazing gem! My family of 10 came here for dinner, and between us all, we sampled all the appetizers, entrees, desserts, and most of the cocktails. Everything was delicious! The owner was friendly and fun to chat with. Highly recommended this place for a drink, for date night, or with family.

Enjoyed a Saturday afternoon brunch at DC Harvest. We enjoyed the local ingredients and seasonal menu. My favorite item was probably the wild mushroom toast appetizer. The shrimp and grits as well as the brioche french toast were tasty also. The restaurant was fairly loud even though it wasn't particularly crowded.

I had a lovely time at DC Harvest. Chatted a bit with the owner and it is clear that they care a lot about the ingredients and how to present them properly. I'm vegetarian and would definitely recommend this place to any other fellow veggie fans that want to have a nice dinner and not feel like they are missing out.

Great location for a meal. Staff is high quality and very friendly and responsible. Food is amazing and the care taken is obvious. Will visit again. The cheese fritters are great. Vast majority of menu of gluten free which is great.

DC Harvest has very fresh ingredients and they go into all of their dishes. Portions are moderate and the quality of the food is great! Amazing fried chicken, likely one of my favorite dishes during brunch. Service is friendly, but the pricing considering the meal is a bit expensive. Overall, a good experience.

Welcoming and friendly, efficient staff. Varied scrumptious & tantalising menu. Unfortunately I found the brunch food I ordered too salty and bland & wouldn’t choose it again. Lettuce for breakfast? I think avocado, broccolini or even green beans would have been preferred. It is very expensive but I would come back to try their dinner options. The Bloody Mary was superb. Surprisingly for an establishment portraying itself as sophisticated, they don’t even have espresso coffee. Very busy on Saturday so book ahead or you’ll be sitting at the bar. It’s deservingly popular.

My date and I used a travel zoo voucher here for dinner on a Sunday night. I felt like the vegetables from my meal were as fresh as could be, perhaps even straight from a farmer's market or a farm itself. The portions were appropriate and I left feeling surprisingly full. The price is a bit steep without the travel zoo voucher. I would give the restaurant a 2/5 for affordability, but 5/5 for ambiance and portion size.

The food was very good, but maybe just a little overpriced. Gratuity is included in the check, which is great, but we were a little confused and had to look it up online. In this time of transition, it would be super helpful if restaurants could make their policies overly transparent. Even given that, I think the meal was a bit overpriced. To be fair, it's in line with the area price-wise. Also the grit dish, while delicious, had surprisingly little actual grits.
