High Street Cafe

A colleague in my office recommended this restaurant and gave it great reviews. When my wife and I went we were not disappointment. Manuel the manager greeted us as we came in and it felt like we were at home. The food was amazing and the services was impeccable. I would recommended this restaurant to anyone.

I have eaten at High Street several times and the staff and food are fantastic. I just had my annual Christmas/holiday lunch today for my entire staff at W. T. Weaver and Sons in our office from High Street Cafe. The food was great the order was done on time they even texted me to let me know it was ready 5 minutes early and called me to follow up a few minutes later so it would not be cold. Let me tell you about this place!! Firstly, I’ve been there twice and each time the staff has been incredibly friendly and attentive! Secondly, the carbonara they have is the best I’ve ever had! I really can’t recommend them enough. If you’re in the area you’d be remiss not to visit. They didn’t have a wine exactly to my taste, but I was recommended a red and a rose that I know my friends would love. On an aside, I’d like to give a shout out to Daniela specifically! She didn’t make it feel like a restaurant experience, she made it seem like I was right at home. She’s friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and has great suggestions. If she recommends something go for it!! Enjoy a great meal for me!! Edit: Since you’re asking, I’m always down for a sweet/dessert wine haha! Either way, I’ll definitely be back to try something else soon~

Very friendly staff and delicious food! Had lunch with baby in a stroller and the staff was very attentive and offered to help multiple times. Their shrimp and grits are very good. Also had a great brunch experience here earlier, very good value for money. Great addition to Georgetown food scene, highly recommend!

High Street Cafe has an awesome burger w fresh cut fries. The nicoise salad is also delicious. You can tell the burger meat is premium quality by the taste, it’s one of the best in DC. Other menu items look very interesting, I cannot wait to try them! Wait staff is great too, like dining at a family friend. I will be back.
