Tartufo is our to go restaurant with family and friends. Our grandchildren love it too.
My parents and I enjoyed a wonderful Sunday night dinner. The gentleman serving was by himself, but he was so organized and helpful, the food delicious, the serving sizes very appropriate, the restaurant atmosphere was inviting. Definitely recommend Tartufo.
Tartufo is a great place of you’re looking to go out for an intimate date night! My spouse and I went there last night for the first time, and the food, service, and prices were all excellent! We really enjoyed their spinach and artichoke ravioli special, and we highly recommend supporting this family-owned business.

Absolutely amazing!! The food was delicious, the ambience was lovely, the wine selection spot on, and the service was beyond perfect! All brought to us by the knowledgeable and caring owner, Abdi. He treats you like family and welcomes you as though you are dining in the comfort of home. Wonderful experience - we look forward to coming back!
Four of us dined at Tartuffo on Thursday evening, December 14, 2023. As usual the food was delicious, the service welcoming, friendly and professional, the atmosphere sophisticated and cozy. We enjoyed the soup of the day, Arugula Insulate, Garlic bread, Pasta with chicken, Salmon, Tiramisu, Chocolate Mousse cake and Multipulciano red wine. Peggy and Pat Fleming
Absolutely delightful! My whole experience was amazing. I'm driving home craving Italian so I take a chance and look up Italian Restaurants near me.
Looking at their menu the Cabonara caught my eye so I called to order. The man who answered the phone was very helpful and recommended the arugula salad and cheesecake.
Everything was amazing and can't wait to come back.
This is a hidden gem in DC. The food was incredible. And also very cheap for the quality you’re getting! But the best part of our experience was our server, Abdi. He was one of the kindest servers I’ve ever met and made our whole dinner incredible. He was performing all of the duties alone (host, server, chef!) and still took the time to be personable. I will be coming back many times!
Sophisticated and friendly neighborhood restaurant. An elegant decor and attentive staff. Dinner here will make you feel you are dining in country. Take the time to enjoy all the courses. This is a place to go for a lovely evening with friends and family.
My visit to Tartufo was on an evening when the restaurant was extremely understaffed with only two individuals. One staff member was performing host, waiter, and chef duties, and the other staff member was bussing. With a little patience for the slow service, it ended up being well worth it. The food was incredible, and I will absolutely be returning.
Everything about my experience was outstanding. I will continue to recommend to anyone saying they are going to DC.
