Wonderful beer "local" selection , kickass food, knowledgeable and attentive staff . Clean bathrooms and a nice crowd of patrons. Check this bar out! Right behind Capital One Arena ! Place has 4 floors and a bar on 3 of them! Can not say enough good stuff about this place! Check it out!

Didn't eat here but had Mezcal Prickly Pear and Mango Habanero Margarita cocktails and they were amazing. Cute rooftop patio but you won't get a view of the sunset or anything.
A pleasant surprise not far from where I work in D.C. We had to wait until 4 for it to open, but it was such a pleasant experience. We headed straight to the rooftop bar and grabbed a shaded table. Here's a tip: get there early because the rooftop bar fills up quickly. The food was tasty and prepared quickly, the drinks were great and the atmosphere was exceptional.
The food was bomb, music was on point and I love the bottomless option bc you get a entree and endless Mimosas for $40. They also bring the bottle of champagne to your table and let you pour your own troubles lol I will definitely be back!

I visited Bar Deco for the first time the other night before a Wizards game. The host/greeter was polite and welcoming. He directed me to the bar via the elevator. The bar is long and narrow but comfortable; typical of establishments in DC. When I arrived around 540, there weren't too many people so I easily found a spot at the bar with seats for my friends to join. The bartender that served me was really friendly and we were able to share some small jokes until my friends met me. I ordered the winter sangria twice which I really liked. Good flavors, not too sweet and definitely gave me a nice buzz going into the arena. I also had the Mac burger which is a nice play on a Big Mac. It was really good but unfortunately it was cooked just a little more than I asked. My girlfriend had the same feedback in her classic burger but that didn't prevent us from eating the whole thing lol. I was pleasantly surprised with the fries here. I didn't know what to expect but I loved the thick cut, wedge style. Seasoned well and still crispy. My other friend got the wings which he liked but we didn't find much mango flavor...just spiciness. Finally, they got the king slayer, the old fashioned and the house red. They all liked their drinks and we all agreed that we would probably come back again! Good happy hour specials, great music and very good service. One major note: they do add 20% gratuity on all of their bills so be aware of that when cashing out. While I definitely don’t agree with 20% automatically being added for all parties, I didn’t mind this time because I think our bartender deserved it. I should have got her name but I spaced. She was a Blonde, White woman working on Monday night. Such a pleasant, professional and fun person.
Friendly and attentive service. Food was tasty and hot, and came out reasonably quickly, especially considering the Caps were playing that night. Nice cocktail menu. Atmosphere was loud due to loud music.
We held an office happy hour at Bar Deco as a private event, and it was great! The space was easy to move around in, with plenty of seating as well as hightops. The food was delicious; I definitely recommend the meatballs. Thanks Chelsea for working with our team to make it a great night!
Went here for a work happy hour. I got here at 430 pm, and there was virtually no one at the rooftop. Once 5 pm hit, people started flooding in. Best get here before 5 to reserve seats.
This place was perfect though for a large party without prior reservations, as long as your ok with a little risk!
Cool vibe, fun menu. The hostess was kind coming in. Would come back.
We were looking for a fun rooftop happy hour and that’s exactly what we found at bar deco! Such a fun spot and the appetizers were SO YUMMY! I had the avocado eggs rolls…oh my gosh, SO YUMMY! Definitely a fun stop!

Came again and it wasn't as great as I remember... I literally dreamt of the club egg rolls I had last time and they were not as good this time (they got rid of the avocado). Also the seating is just a mess. If they put a counter around the edge of the rooftop there'd be so much more seating. Nothing worse than ordering food and having no where to eat it!
Great happy hour spot. Came to celebrate a friend's promotion. Friendly and accommodating staff. Drinks are reasonably priced. Food is top notch and delicious ($3 off appetizers during happy hour). Atmosphere was welcoming and relaxing. I can definitely see myself coming back to Bar Deco again. Two thumbs up 👍🏽👍🏽.
We sat on the rooftop. Staff was fun and outstanding. Food was amazing as well. The pictured sandwich is only half of it. Portions are more than enough and fairly priced. Atmosphere and quality make this definitely worth a visit.
