Beautiful bar in a historic hotel. The lamb chops (Xmas menu) were so good, meat cooked to perfection with the well prepared sauce and sweet and fresh asaragus and our son loved his chicken wings a lot. Highly recommend!!!

This restaurant is located in the Mayflower hotel. The hosts were always very accommodating and gave me some really great seats even though I was dining alone. I think a lot of business people stay here because there were a lot of single tables.

Solid choice for food when you are staying at the hotel. Let’s face it, convenience is everything and while the restaurant is not perfect, they do a great job with their food. The Mayflower Hotel’s main lobby bar and restaurant. While it shares the same name as my father-in-law that is about it for this place.

Had a great time here grabbing a drink in between events at the Mayflower Hotel. The Edgar Bar is a nice sophisticated spot within the Mayflower Hotel for a drink in the Washington DC area.
We enjoyed a late night drink with some snacks as well as dinner one night, and breakfast. Food is delicious. Service was great.
Vegetarian perspective
Hotel restaurant, so atmosphere was as expected. Only vegetarian entree was a pasta (ravioli), but it was good and a good portion size. For a more upscale hotel restaurant, would have liked a more creative vegetarian/vegan entree. Nothing vegan except salad. Liked the elote a

Such a cute little bar. The cheesecake and clam chowder is amazing. The Brussels sprouts not so much. The ravioli wasn't great either.
Great, my only complaint is my green beans were cold. When they served them; everything else was delicious and hot.
It was a very nice dining experience. Staff is amazing and tentative to the needs of customers. Food was well made, and the presentation was very good. I would definitely dine here again.
Tam is THE best at the bar! Awesome drinks, fun personality, and extremely attentive. Went the extra mile and more for me to even find a charger to charge my phone rapidly. Tam, Anthony and I will visit you anytime we are in DC! The best espresso martini i’ve ever had, and that’s saying a lot! You
Excellent for group dinner or meetings, large selection of entrees, flatbreads, salads, charcuterie boards, etc. Large wine list menu and draft beers.
The hangar steak on the salad was okay (sliced would have been nicer). Friend had a chicken cesar (her chicken was chopped!) and it looked amazing.
