Similar layout to chipotle or cava amd places like that. The interior is super cute with a modern flair. Food is perfectly seasoned and tendered while also not having an overbearing flavor. I love their coconut sauce.

This is a great fast casual option in navy yard. It’s not Rasika, but for clear casual, this is a great option for a healthy and tasty meal. Think of Rasa like cava or roti with a Indian cuisine twist. Innovative! Tikka Chance on Me!

Literally AMAZING. I went here for lunch and the staff was so nice. The atmosphere is relaxing and beautiful (Tina of things to look at!) And the food is 10/10. Think of it as a Indian version of Chipotle 😅😋😋😋

Cool super friendly vibe. Gave samples to help me decide. Spicy beef on arugala and basmati with a garlic naan and mint cardamom limeade. 20 bucks. Awesome and delishious. Just blocks from Nationals ballpark and metro. Highly recommend!

First time here and I am very impressed with the flavor of everything. I ordered the Open Sesame - (Lamb Kebabs) , switched out the peanut sauce for the garlic coconut and tomato garlic sauce. SO YUMMS. As someone from Malaysia and is part Indian. I really enjoyed my meal. ♡ Will definitely be back if I am ever in the area.

They serve Indian style cuisine but know that it's not what you would get from a true sit down Indian restaurant. You can build your own bowl or go with their bowl options. I get what they already designed and it's always good. I usually get the Aloo Need is Love bowl which comes with these amazing sweet potato tiki balls. The fresh naan is delicious as well. You'll spend about $15 for a bowl and naan. If you want a delicious and hearty lunch served quickly this is good place to visit.

As the street gets darker in Navy yards DC when you walk away from Nats Stadium and you pass by the not so interesting (but sometimes reliable) Chipotle, you will find this amazing space called Rasa. The moment I entered Rasa I knew this was gonna be fun. From deep meaningful painting at the entrance to the really cool music inviting you, the ambience passed the vibe check. The bowl in Rasa is a mix of various cultures of India. The gravy sauces, the protein, veggies and the base all delicious. Even the supergrains, which can be bland in other places, are flavorful. Ordered for Spicy beef which had taste of kerala in it, but that topped with peanut sesame and tomato garlic sauce and side of mind blowingly delicious veggies that reminds you of different types of cuisines in India, gave a brilliant flavor profile that knocked me off my feet (not that I am gonna marry the dish but could’ve if it was a real person) The staff was nice and helpful to give chutneys on the side. Don’t miss the Lassi too. One of the best in Nova/DC area. Only thing missing was naan to complete the whole meal, but the blissful burp after the meal is telling me to ignore this nitpick.

Interesting and new. They had a lot of options for vegetarian and the food tasted good. Tou have a lot of ways to customize your bowl and it tasted amazing. The staff was friendly and the place is clean.

Enjoyed the bowl with sweet potato tikkis. Their tamarind chutney was delicious too! Wish their peanut sesame sauce had more flavor to it, it tasted quite bland. Large space with plenty of vegetarian options. Ideal for grabbing a quick lunch.
