Great experience! Our waitress was super attentive and sweet. The food came out quickly. The atmosphere and music was a 10/10. I would go back. I will add that 20% gratuity is automatically applied to your bill.

First trip to DC and was told we needed to try mumbo sauce from one of the conductors on our Amtrak that is from DC. Found Next Door and liked the extensive menu. It is a bit loud , had a DJ when we were there, and the restaurant was pretty full so again a bit loud. Had several TVs with football games on, a very lively atmosphere. Our server was Peggy S and she was very nice and helpful with the menu and bar suggestions. We ordered bone in and boneless wings and fries. Had the bone in wings with the house dry rub that is wonderful, sweet but savory and a little smokey. Ordered buffalo, ranch and mumbo sauces on the side and all were amazing. Boneless wing in mumbo sauce that was also amazing,, so good we ordered an order of dry rub wings to go. Also the bar drinks are strong and very good. So there is a 20% service charge added to your check that is divided for the staff, and there is a lot of staff, some goes to your server but there is an option to tip your server separately if you choose.

Read a lot of reviews and this spot kept coming up as a suggestion. The food was superb. They make very simple food taste amazing. My favorite part of the meal was the Kale with smoked Turkey 11/10. Also, our waitress was knowledgeable, attentive, and very personable.

Bens nextdoor has a very nice atmosphere. Went there for brunch and the music definitely added to the vibe. The staff seems to get a bit flustered with large groups though. I had to wait quite some time for what I ordered (I looked like my original order may have been given to a different table), but I got it, I'd rate it about a 7.5/10.
The only real issue I have is that they only have 2 restroom stalls in the establishment. By the time we finished with brunch, there was a long line to the toilet after having bottomless mimosas.
Overall, nice picturesque place with good music and decent drinks.

First time visiting this establishment. Environment was very fun and the vibes are high, good music occasionally you may have to yell - great spot to come and hangout with friends, ordered the jerk penne pasta, was not the best but fulfilling. The appetizers will be my choice and the drinks are amazing - pretty extensive food and drink menu. Also, there’s happy hour every day of the week, what a treat!

Ambiance was amazing, chill vibe with great music...lets not forget the food!!! I ordered the crab deviled eggs & fried catfish fingers....LAWD, BEST food I ate in DC! Our server was amazing too!! Definitely will be going back!

Soooooooo delicious!!! The seafood is perfection! Had to order multiple appetizers and i am beyond satisfied!! Whoever the chef is here went above and beyond and did their thang! Will be back again. I never give anyone a 10/10, but this place hit my special seafood spot! 🔥
