Food was amazing, service was perfect, the atmosphere was nice and cozy. What really set our experience apart was our interaction with the manager. We did not have a reservation but he kept us company (and with drinks) while we waited for one to become available. When we were seated he was everywhere, making sure everyone was happy and everything went smoothly. He made us feel like we were at a friend's place, not just another restaurant. We will be back. One of the top 5 meals i’ve ever had! Wonderful staff that had great suggestions and absolutely spectacular cocktail program! Well worth the price for a delightful experience. The Chef’s Tasting Menu is absolutely decadent in the best way. Perfectly cooked duck, and i can’t stop thinking about the demi glacé on the veal dish. Spectacular experience!

The food was absolutely phenomenal. We got the tasting menu and it couldn’t have been better. Drinks were great as well. The service was decent, but the wait staff probably needed a little more training as they were difficult to understand and speaking right over the food - which was a bit off-putting. The atmosphere doesn’t match the quality of food. Lastly, for this price, you would expect excellent ambiance as well. All in all, the food was totally worth it but ambiance and service need improvement.

I can confidently say that bresca serves one of the best selection of courses among all 1 Michelin star ⭐️ restaurants in DC . Apart from their dessert all the other dishes are marvelous and meticulously cooked. We chose the full tasting menu. The starter; sword fish, Veal and duck were impressive. The atmosphere and ambiance is at par with the standard and expectation you would have from the enterprise running both Jont and Bresca. A team of professionals with a full command on their area. A great overall experience. Would have loved to have the desserts one level up though. Highly recommended and would love to go there again.

This place is everything you look for in an authentic, fancy, and delicious food spot. We were here for restaurant week and everything we had was burst of delightful flavors. The tasting menu really did not have anything we didn't like. The servers were really thoughtful and intelligent about the food we are consuming. The presentation is also quite beautiful. We have been to a lot of fancy restaurants but this one is the only one that has great taste, wonderful atmosphere, and not a single dish was out of place. Highly recommend it for the price if you want a great experience and not be left feeling like they just ripped you off.

Overall a nice experience. The food was delicious and the courses complemented each other well. The pasta dish and bluefin tuna were divine. I wish the tables weren’t so close together. It can be hard to hear. While the food and service were excellent, the rating menu is slightly overpriced when compared to other DC Michelin starred restaurants.

The service at bresca is really fantastic. They're very attentive without hovering over the table. It was busy and a little loud inside so the only issue is that I had some trouble hearing all of the descriptions of the food. The atmosphere is otherwise great inside, modern without being pretentious. The food was wonderful! We did the tasting menu and the Bluefin Tuna in particular was a favorite at our table, it absolutely melted in your mouth. Dessert was also excellent, we ordered both and preferred the Raspberry Semifredo, which had a really nice crunch to it.

BRESCA is the best place to enjoy duck in DC. The centerpiece of our meal, the duck à la presse, achieves perfection in both temperature and flavor. The duck’s crispy skin, adorned with intensive spices, delivers a symphony of tastes that captivates the palate. A masterful surprise is in the small bits featuring the grilled tender duck heart with chimichurri sauce and duck liver tart with grilled apple and hazelnut. Even if you are not a fan of organs, I highly recommend to give them a try. The Agnolotti, generously filled with foie and cheese, showcases expert craftsmanship in every bite.
