The service was amazing! Waitress was very attentive and kind. The food definitely satisfied my Indian food craving. We got chicken biryani, chicken curry, and garlic naan. Everything tasted great! The prices are decent as well. I highly recommend.

Let me start by saying you do not judge a book by its cover... If we read the reviews, we might have skipped this restaurant. However, we are glad that we did not read the negative reviews... We went twice over the weekend and we had nothing but amazing service, classy people and a wonderful tasting
Ordered via Uber Eats for Pickup and the quality of the items are way too good to only take it out. Much better for dine-in so go and enjoy it is worth it.
Staff was friendly and attentive. The naan bread is out of this world, freshly made. Our meal was delicious, not too spicy but just tolerable for a nice kick and savory. Meat well cooked my lamb melted in my mouth. We will definitely be coming back next time I stop in DC. Great experience.
I went here around 8pm. Food was good and didn't take an awful long time to be served. The place was clean and the servers were attentive and kept checking in to make sure things were going well. I'll return to this place if I'm in the area again.
Not sure why this place has such mixed reviews. The food was delicious (had an excellent butter chicken) and the naan was some of the best I’ve had/was clearly fresh. Staff was very attentive even though I was sitting outside. Will definitely come back.

This Georgetown Indian restaurant exceeded my expectations. The food was packed with authentic flavors, especially the butter chicken, and the service was impeccable. A must-visit for Indian cuisine enthusiasts in the area!
This restaurant is very close walking distance from the Embassy Suites. Good food and service. The waiter never missed a beat with refilling our water or asking if we needed more naan. They also have beautiful artwork.
If I stay in chrystal city again, I would like to revisit this restaurant.
We've lived in Georgetown for many years and enjoy the food at Taj regularly. Others come and go, Taj has been here for decades. It's not fancy. Just excellent food at an affordable price.
