Don’t let the reviews deter you!
The service was amazing! Waitress was very attentive and kind. The food definitely satisfied my Indian food craving. We got chicken biryani, chicken curry, and garlic naan. Everything tasted great! The prices are decent as well. I highly recommend.
I had a great time at this restaurant. When I walked in to eat here with my family, there was only one other table with people and a lot of the waiters were just standing around. It had me wondering if I had made the right decision to eat here. All my doubts were wiped once I got the food. It was truly delicious. Everything from the pakoras, to the garlic naan, to the chicken curries were delightful. The last few times I have eaten at an Indian restaurant, I was not completely satisfied by the amount of food I had received for the price. However, here I thought everything was worth the price that I paid and fulfilling. If you’re looking for a good Indian restaurant especially in the Georgetown area, you must definitely check this place out.
Let me start by saying you do not judge a book by its cover... If we read the reviews, we might have skipped this restaurant. However, we are glad that we did not read the negative reviews... We went twice over the weekend and we had nothing but amazing service, classy people and a wonderful tasting food... We ordered the beef biryani and chicken masala... Both were hot and fresh and tasted amazing. It's too bad the restaurant looked light in traffic... I don't know if they can survive with the light traffic, however some of the negative reviews are uncalled for... The decor is very nice and the location is convenient as it's away from the traffic.... The price is extremely reasonable.... The beef biryani was $17 and the ticky masala was about $16 or so... We both thought the portions were very adequate and we actually ended up taking some home.... The nan was warm to hot and very fresh... We ate the beef samosa and it was slightly dry but overall very good. My wife and I have been around the world and we have to travel to multiple continents and I can tell you the food was very good. We will absolutely go back there again without any doubt.... I am not saying it's the only restaurant that we will go back to. However it is a five-star restaurant.
Ordered via Uber Eats for Pickup and the quality of the items are way too good to only take it out. Much better for dine-in so go and enjoy it is worth it.
Staff was friendly and attentive. The naan bread is out of this world, freshly made. Our meal was delicious, not too spicy but just tolerable for a nice kick and savory. Meat well cooked my lamb melted in my mouth. We will definitely be coming back next time I stop in DC. Great experience.
I went here around 8pm. Food was good and didn't take an awful long time to be served. The place was clean and the servers were attentive and kept checking in to make sure things were going well. I'll return to this place if I'm in the area again.
Not sure why this place has such mixed reviews. The food was delicious (had an excellent butter chicken) and the naan was some of the best I’ve had/was clearly fresh. Staff was very attentive even though I was sitting outside. Will definitely come back.
I had a great experience here. I feel like this was the best Chicken Curry and Garlic Naan I had anywhere in the US. Also, they charged my phone while I was eating. Great service.
Best Indian food in the area. Keep it up. Hassan took great care of us. I order food from here weekly and it’s never disappointing. Will definitely return. Great restaurant.
I was recommended to give this place a try, and I am VERY Happy I did. My best friend and I went with two Meats Lunch Specials, Chicken Pakora and even a Mango Lassi. Everything was superb, fresh and just full of flavor!! I have to also mention the service was fast, friendly and welcoming! Whenever we are back in Georgetown we will be visiting again no doubt!
