The S and T Production Showcases on Sunday nights are AMAZING!!!!!! Great Food, great atmosphere, and GREAT SHOWS. Stronjai 's Lipstick Revue on 1st and 3rd Sundays and Tay's So Seductive Revue on 2nd Sundays is a whole mood. The best part is that the shows are at 8:15pm. Which is early enough to get back home in a decent hour. Ready to start your Monday morning off right.

Great location, excellent vibe. Portions were a little smaller than expected, but still very much reasonable.
Definitely go on a live music night. It's a blast. (Just be wary, you do have to buy tickets).

I’ve come to this restaurant religiously for the past 28 years and continue to do so because of the welcoming environment and great impromptu eats. The staff is always courteous. However, “Joseph” takes things to a whole new level. He is the kindest and most attentive gentleman that I have ever encountered in your establishment and should be recognized; his service quality is impeccable. Kudos

As my first dining experience here, it was exceptional. We were lucky enough to come out on a Thursday and loved their nightly options, besides the entrees, Thursday is London Broil night. Every detail was taken care of, with sour cream for the baked potatoes and butter for the dinner roll, including a gravy to dip and savor with.
Every server was there to please and loved that ours came by to check on us in case we needed anything else further into the meal.
The decor takes you away to a cozy supper club atmosphere, and was so happy to learn that live music has returned.
If you are looking for intimate dining with friends or loved ones, delicious and plentiful food options, Mr. Henry's is the place to be.

This was a cozy restaurant, fairly close to all the Washington attractions.
The service here was top. They were super friendly, took their time and made sure we always had water. When leaving the restaurant we were even allowed to fill our drink bus for free.
The food was super tasty and big portions.
I would definitely recommend this restaurant!

I love Mr. Henry’s! The jam evening on Wednesday is super fun, and Herb Scott is a great host! The jam varies depending on the week, sometimes it’s a little bit more chill and relaxed, but some weeks it really fills up and has standing room only, especially around the 9-10PM hour.
This place does great food as well, in particular their fried food is great. Onion rings are shatteringly crisp, and the “fries” are really delicious potato wedges.
Music is consistently great. On Wednesdays, the house band always does a great set, and then some really talented musicians come down here to jam from 9PM.
Definitely recommend a visit!

We stopped in here for a quick bite before a book signing at the bookstore down the road. Staff was very friendly especially our waitress. They didn't have sweet tea but she made an awesome Arnold Palmer to satisfy my craving! She gave great recommendations and checked on us often. The atmosphere was very welcoming and upbeat. Loved the different style of decorations.

Was told by the folks who are Arlington Cemetery guides that this was the place to go for food after my tour...
They were not wrong! Great meal in a place that may not look like much, but its been part of DC history for a very long time.
My meal was very tasty, hot, and fresh and I feel like I got my monies worth for a change!
Friendly staff and my waitress did a great job.
Loved the Salmon and the brownie treat... yummy
Nightly specials, bar, and all the rest...
Will come back again.
NOTE***
Went back a day later and had another lunch meal. It was just as good, yummy food. :)

My boyfriend and I came to visit the DC area and were recommended to visit Mr. Henry’s. As music lovers, we absolutely LOVED the musicians and Dominique Bianco‘s performance! Our server, Pat, was incredibly
sweet and offered a dessert at the end when the food took some time to make (which we didn’t even notice because the jazz show was that good!) I recommend the steak, it was delicious! Mr. Henry’s, we will definitely be back!
