For me, a trip to Guapos is a must when visiting family in DC over the holidays. The restaurant is beautifully decorated for Christmas, the food is always delicious and the service is excellent. We love Guapos!

Every weekend that we can, this is an excellent Brunch place that we go with my family, if you like a Mexican food, you have to write on your list, we love their brunch and if you’re going around 11am, will be a good time to drink some Margaritas too.

The food was good for the price! We really enjoyed the atmosphere, and the service was good, too!
But make sure to make a reservation before you head out on weekends; otherwise, you gonna need to wait for a bit before you can get a table!
They make their bread, and you can see the machine on the first floor, which is really cool!
We got a jar of Margarita, which was about 6.5 glasses of margarita, and it was enough for 5 of us!
Overall, it’s a good restaurant for the money you pay!

We hosted my 30th high school reunion at Guapo's Tenleytown, and our ~70 guests absolutely loved it! The manager (Jacob) and employees were extremely friendly and accomodating.
They were seamless in their transitions from appetizers to dinner to dessert. Additionally, they were unobtrusive but quick with the table bussing. The food was excellent and plentiful and the drinks were delicious. The event room is very nicely laid and has plenty of space. There is ample free parking (with validation) at the Whole Foods next door.

Service was great. No reservation and was seated immediately. Instantly greeted and served water and chips and salsa. Frozen strawberry margarita was 🤌🏾💋. My entree was shrimp stuffed with crab under a layer of sauteed spinach with a shrimp sauce drizzle. This is a first of many visits to come!

We've been going here forever and the family that runs Guapo's treats their customers like family. It's very good Mexican food, not gourmet, but predictably very good.
The service is outstanding and the waitstaff must be treated well as they all have good attitudes. Weather permitting, the outdoor seating is a must right on Wisconsin Avenue.

On the more expensive side for Latin food (although not for DC prices) but the portions were massive and the food was just perfect. The steak with my fajitas was cooked perfectly and the flavors were unmatched. Highly recommend getting cancun sauce with your entree. Service was great despite being slammed on a Saturday night.

Yes they have extra spicy salsa. Great food, good prices, food for kids and adults. Decent location. Wegmans parking deck is next to it if you can't find parking.
