Wow, the food here is stellar. From well-crafted cocktails, exceptionally flavored crispy chicken, and some of the best Bulgogi I've ever tasted, I cannot stress how delicious the food is. Their dessert croiffle (croissant waffle) was delicious, although it was a little on the sweet side, but still superb. However, the pricing for their entrees is on the more expensive side. It's $37 for one portion of Bulgogi and even though it comes with lettuce to make wraps ("ssam") and a side of grilled veggies, the price is higher than I think it should be. I'd recommend splitting the Bulgogi between 2 people and ordering 1-2 appetizers for a satisfying meal. Their menus are all digital and publicly available on their website. The staff are all very friendly and the atmosphere is quite spacious with a unique design. The restaurant is split into two sections: a bar and a restaurant. Unfortunately, the Happy Hour deals are only offered at the bar.

I got a seat at the bar because there was a big party in the main restaurant. I love the food and service. Bar tender was extremely friendly and professional. Parking was the hardest to find. I had to park at a private lot which could be a bit costly. Lovely food nonetheless.

This was some of the best food my boyfriend and I have ever had! The food was bursting with flavor, portion sizes were huge, and the service was amazing! We were almost in tears to how good the food was! Our server Hector did an amazing job and truly described the food so well when he said Mandu is like a perfect home-cooked meal! If you are looking for AMAZING Korean dishes or just good food in general PLEASE TRY OUT MANDU!

In DC for three nights with my amazing GF Mindy 🥰 . . . we got into the hotel a bit exhausted but hungry - not wanting to drive anymore, the Korean place we had chosen originally was off the table, so we looked to see what was around . . . the universe had Mandu in the wings for us! Only a five minute walk for us, so winner winner BiBimBap Dinner. Jun was our waiter - he was AMAZING! BEST waiter EVER! Extraordinary attention and service - as well as recommendations - steered me to the Smokey Korean -if you like Smokey drinks then I highly recommend! Jun also brought us some Banchan all was good but the pickles were especially tasty! Mindy and I both had the BiBimBap - Mindy the tofu and I the bulgogi - both were absolutely delicious. Portions were huge, so we ended up taking home enough for a second meal! Loved the drink so much I got a second drink 😋. This place rocks! Go - eat- you’ll love them too!

Great all around. I had the mandu (of course) the Juk, the galbi and teokbokki. I loved everything and even the banchan was really delicious. There was a nice smoky flavor to the teokbokki that I enjoyed and the galbi was so tender and rich. I also had the dress to empress cocktail which was really good. The service was really friendly and attentive. Would definitely come back!

Great taste. I would recommend getting a better rice cooker and use stainless steel pot for stew 😋

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Mandu in Washington DC, and let me tell you, it was an absolute revelation. This place has everything you could possibly want in a Korean restaurant and more. First off, let's talk about the Golgi beef. Holy cow (pun intended), this dish is a true masterpiece. The beef is cooked to perfection, with just the right amount of seasoning to bring out all the flavors. The meat is juicy and tender, and each bite is an explosion of deliciousness. But that's not all - the Ddukbokgi and Dduk Mandu Guk are also out of this world. The spicy rice cakes and dumpling soup are perfectly balanced and so comforting. It's like a warm hug in a bowl. And let's not forget about the happy hour menu. This place has some of the best happy hour deals in town, with prices that won't break the bank. It's the perfect spot to unwind after work or catch up with friends. But what really sets Mandu apart is the overall vibe of the place. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. You can tell that the people here are passionate about what they do, and it shows in every dish and every interaction.

Came here for dinner after work with a few coworkers. We were immediately sat when we arrived for our reservation. It was 7 of us in our party. It was a small restaurant but I appreciated that there was a decent amount of space between tables. We were given water and the opportunity to look through the menu. The waiter was very attentive and moved quickly! Since i had eaten a big lunch, here at Mandu I ordered the KFC and a sojutini. The chicken was so crispy!! I wish I would've asked for the sauce on the side and dipped the wings instead of having the sauce dressed on the chicken. The wings were big and juicy, i even had some leftover. My drink was also good and simple. I also appreciated that we were able to pay quickly via the QR code on the receipt. Go here if you have a taste for Korean or want to try something new! They had authentic menu items.

Tucked in K St NW where once this area was known to be where pimps and ladies(?) of the night roamed the streets at witching hours, Mandu is a cute Korean woodsy restaurant that has all the staples without the tabletop grilling. There is something of a sense of relief not having to cook your own food where the staff are rushing you out like other K places, a-La Honey Pig and Gogi Yogi. Mandu is relaxed and the food is bountiful. Our server Tom was super nice and attentive, sweet and extremely easy on the eyes, made sure that we were well informed and taken care of to the last detail including a birthday sherbet for my niece. We had amazing apps, seafood pancake, grilled cauliflower, and the dumplings, all top rate. For our entrees we had bulgogi, bibimpba, juekkejan, and galbi, all entrees enough for a couple to eat.
