Bittersweet night at Espita tonight—we popped in for a couple cocktails and dinner to find out they’re closing and this is the last night. They’ll be reopening as a different concept in late August. Thankfully we can still order Ghostburgers via delivery but we will miss this reliable and pleasurable neighborhood joint.

I really liked this place and the friendly staff. The ambiance: Very nice setting and decor…great for a date night, friends dinner and Conversation, or just a happy hour meet up. Food: Very tasty and good portions. We had the Tlayuda which is Lamb Chorizo, eggplant, sweet potato, queso Oaxaca on top of a big tortilla (it was really good). We also had the Pollo Asado which was so delicious very well seasoned and cooked. Dessert we had churros with in-house made dipping sauces and three flavored sorbet- Guanabara, creamy coconut, and blood orange I believe. Soooo good. Drinks: Great presentation and tasted just right. We tried the Too Early which was very good but more of a brunch drink for me. Also we had the hibiscus Margarita it was really goood, and I’m a Sage-Tarius also good. Staff: Awesome service, very attentive, and on point with great recommendations on drinks and food choices. Ask for Iyana when you go there she was awesome. Recommend: Definitely a must go. I will return for brunch.

Definitely need to go back and try more of the menu. The bar service was top notch. I had the Pollo Asado half chicken. A large portion, it was bigger than I needed but I ate it all anyway. It was perfectly cooked, very moist, not overcooked at all. The mole had kick to it. I also tried the old fashioned and the Mayahuel. I would get both again but would ask to hold the bitters, it was overpowering the rest of the Old Fashioned.

Haven’t had such good food in a long time! We basically had everything vegetarian from the menu. The red salsa was awesome as well as the cauliflower tacos and quesadillas. Not the standard Mexican food you can get at every chipotle but really good composed dishes with amazing tastes. Although it is rather expensive I would come back at any time!

Fantastic food. Menus are simple and delicious, their ingredients are fresh, fries are seasoned and crunchy (you know you care about it) and damn, that Philly cheese steak. . . So good. They're open during the day, don't let the window tint fool you. Showing you a photo of what we ate, I promise it was pretty.

We went here for Mother's Day brunch and it was a mixed experience. The food was good, the service just so-so, especially the sour attitude by a young hostess. I did the prix fixe. For my starter, I chose a vegetarian quesadilla which had some delicious roasted vegetables. For my main, I had their chilaquiles with the most amazing smoky red salsa, it was the standout. For postre, I had to choose the churros but they were underwhelming, the churros were too dense and lacking any flavor on their own. Our server was good, friendly and fairly attentive.

It was a nice spot. Beautiful and comfortable space. The food it's very good and it was more than I expected, the portions are super good! The prices are excellent too, this place is always crowed so, if you need a reservation do it! Each account has added 20% of the service. The waiters are bilingual (English - Spanish) and very kind, at the same time they can become somewhat annoying for making you leaves the tables.

Delicious food and cocktails! For the less adventurous culinary-wise, there's a burger menu too. Don't miss the vegetarian taco which is (IMO) the best taco on the menu.

Came here for the $25 3-course brunch deal. The waffle is an extra $4 & the churro an extra $2 and if you want a drink that’s an extra amount 😅 So total may come to $40-50 for the brunch deal 😶 (per person) In all we had no complaints it was good, just check the menu before you go to make sure you like their menu. It had different things I’ve never really seen before. Got the Carne Apache for app it was so delish (probably the best app option in my opinion) My husband got the Tocino- literally just bacon 😅 Entrees I got the hamburguesa & fries, it was good but I wasn’t a fan of the seasoning on the fries. I’d recommend without seasoning lol maybe just salt. My husband got the chicken and waffles, asked for the eggs to be scrambled and he enjoyed it. Dessert I got milk chocolate ice cream, not bad but had a texture to it. I enjoyed it but if you’re picky with food you might not. My husband got the churro and it was ok. Tasted good while eating the ice cream though😊 P.s they have a QR code and you order & pay on there, the server checks on you every so often to make sure you don’t need anything

In these tough covid times the responsibility of seating comes down even harder on the host/ess. Though this place was very busy, the host treated us with a warm professional manner, and we received exceptional service from her this Saturday. The food is great quality, and the brunch is great value. For dessert forget the churros and find someone to split both the rice crispy treat and the dulce de ledge ice cream - it’s an awesome combo. Drinks are great too, their margaritas are made from mezcal which gives it this oakey flavor, very sophisticated beverage. Also, very cool vibe. Reminds me a lot of Brooklyn NY. Could use some music too.
