Really like this place. Great selection of burgers. And you can always make your own. That's what I ended up doing. It was great. Service was fast and the staff was very friendly. There's also a lot more than just burgers; they have some great looking salads. Also milkshakes. A nice place to go to get some really good food.
Another one of many "upscale burger" restaurants with some different toppings, combinations, and funky names for their burgers. Being a BBQ lover I went for the western bbq bacon burger. Onions rings on it where very crunchy and good. Many times the onion rings get soggy from sitting too long to be put on burgers, but this wasn't the case here. Burgers where done properly according to temp ordered. Staff was friendly, even suggesting that I should get the Tots instead of the fries (good choice!). This is a smaller place to sit and eat, but was appetizing and we would return.
People are great. Great atmosphere. People working are fantastic. Treat you like family. Easy location to walk to. If you are ever in town in DC you got to check it out. Oh and the food is great too
Probably one of the best burgers I've ever had. The burger was from free-roaming cows and no fillers, hormones or antibiotics used in the meat. The burgers were 6oz patties and grilled over an open flame. The restaurant was clean and setting was spaced comfortably. The location was easy to locate. Loved the bun ( fresh). Fries were good - better than most. The staff acted liked they were genuinely glad you had chosen their restaurant.
Very good burger. Loaded with toppings!! Great staff! The guy at the register was awesome and made sure we were happy with our order!
I took my Mom to BGR for lunch and we barely talked because the burgers were so delicious. I also tried the lamb burger another time and that was great too. They were perfectly cooked each time (medium well).
Loved the Cuban. We stayed in a really nice hotel near Dupont Circle. One of the group told us about this place and it was one of the best burgers I have ever had. We ate there 4 times in a week. I thought the service was great. They did screw up my burger, I don't like cheese so on two of the occasions I had to take it back and I literally fear doing that... I am taking my wife to DC and this will be our first stop-Before the museums!
Good burger.... The burger was very good although I found their fries dry as arizona and disappointing. The service was indifferent at best...not really service at all.
Burgers were delicious, one of the few burger places I've been to that can cook burgers rare, and it was great. Went last night and I'm thinking about going back tonight for dinner
Quite simply, the best burger I've ever eaten, and quick, friendly service. Reasonably priced and good for families. Small number of tables, but that didn't seem to be a problem even though it was as crowded as you'd expect for food so good.
Burgers are served as if I grilled them in the backyard myself. Kids meal is a great deal. $6 gets you a meal, drink and ice cream. I had the Cuban burger; very good.
Came in for a bit to eat early morning around 11:15 A.M. I ordered the Bacon burger topped with provolone, mushrooms, sauteed onions, jalapenos, Chipotle mayo, and an egg over easy. The burger was cooked medium and i added a side of fries and a drink to my order. The food was delicious and burger was juicy. The only thing really taking away a star is the atmosphere. The location was clean, it was just the inside needs a face lift. There are holes in the wall and simply does not look nice. It is a bit expensive but good food.
These burgers are delicious. I had s grilled chicken and it is not greasy and not dry. My husband had a beef burger and we both really enjoyed our food. They have a long list of complimentary toppings.

It's great open flame grill. Don't confuse it with "fast food" everything is made to order. It's a casual dining area. I personally favor the Western Bbq it's one o the best burgers they have. And the veggie burger is awesome as well. If you go then you'll have a great experience.
Best burgers and fries in the area. I especially like the buns, which are never soaked in grease and oil like a lot of other places. Reasonably priced and very friendly staff. I used to come here weekly, and their rotating specialty burgers definitely keep me coming back.
As a Midwestern transplant from Iowa, I have found this place to be my go-to spot for burgers. Never overly trendy or trying too hard for a gimmick. They seem to always remember that the most important thing is quality beef and how you cook it - always actually medium (pink throughout, but not bloody), evenly and consistently cooked. The couple times (out of MANY) it's been a little off, I just have had to show then the inside and they've immediately given me another one. Solid.
Decided to give this place a try despite the mixed reviews. I ordered my Wellington medium rare and got it just the way I wanted it. The sweet potato fries were good and crisp and the service was polite and fast. The place itself was clean and had a laid-back ambiance. I'll be coming back.
A good burger and excellent service experience. I ordered and was satisfied with how it came out, but there could have been more fries. Not to the extent where I would have complained. A few minutes later, the cook sent me a whole order of fries because he thought it looked skimpy. Much appreciated. Very much.
Consistently great burgers and fries. Have been going here off and on for 6 years, and I've not noticed any decline in quality. Occasionally I'll order something that turns out to not be to my taste (I'm looking at you peppercorn sauce burger), but that's to be expected when you try new things. The staff has always been super friendly, in my experience.
