Uptowner Cafe - Washington DC - Photo album

Been here a couple times now and had good experiences. First time was when we got caught in the lunch rush but service was still very quick and efficient. I ordered one of their Turkey based sandwiches which was delicious and filling. They have several options on the menu and allow customizations or
I came to get some breakfast while waiting for a family member to get done surgery at GW Hospital. It is about an 8 minute walk from the hospital. Bacon egg and cheese on a bagel sandwich was actually pretty good. There could’ve been more meat however it was really inexpensive which made it worth w
There are many good options in their menu. Fresh omlette is quickly made in front of you with fresh vegetables you choose. It's a healthy fast breakfast you can get. They don't serve espresso or latte though. Only regular coffee.
Great value and quick. Good breakfast sandwiches. Lamb gyro sandwich was also good, but…. Club M sandwich was probably the worst club sandwich I’ve ever had. Very very very dry pieces of chunky turkey and the sandwich was overall tasteless. Couldn’t get myself to finish it. Planning on giving othe
Came here for an omelette at around lunch time. Decent food and $7 for the food was reasonable. Wide range of other goods including bakery and snacks. Friendly staff and would recommend.
I thought this place had good omelettes! No gluten free bread options though.
We had the st.asaph, turkey, and club sandwiches. Really good and decent price, between 9-10 dollars
Nice convenient deli and store. Very clean and a wide selection of prepared foods, drinks, and snacks. There is a food bar to buy food by the pound and an areà where did is made to order. You would be hard pressed to not find something to your liking to eat or munch on. Some things are kind of price
Enjoyed a sandwich and a cup of coffee for an early lunch while staying at a nearby hotel. Sandwiches are freshly made with good quality meat and veggies. Appreciated the caring and hardworking staff.
Incredible sandwiches and one of the last spots in DC to build fresh sandwiches with all types of ingredients for around $10. I hope this place doesn’t get squashed by chains like Tatte. It’s also a convenience store which is useful. I love this little spot.
Very good fresh made sandwiches, chips, drinks and other items for a quick meal. There aren't many quick lunch spots in this part of town so this place is great. You can sit inside or outside, service is fast and the people are friendly. Prices are reasonable for this area.
Really fresh sandwiches made carefully to order. Club M was delicious!
Good food - fair prices - fast service Excellent alternative for overpriced hotel breakfasts in the Georgetown area.
Stopped by for a quick bite after touring DC. Had the BLT and wife had the turkey sandwich. Awesome. Turkey was fresh and BLT was one of the best I've had. They have as great selection of cold drinks which was what we needed on this hot day. Go here. You won't be disappointed.
I loved this place. My first time. It's small, with 3 tables, but enough chairs for 4 close friends. Busy, but quick delivery on cooked, common food. I enjoyed my "2 eggs w/ cheese, and a choice of meat platter." I also had a bagel, cream cheese and jam, with a small coffee. All a little over $10. W
I wanted every sandwich on the menu after a long bike ride. I enjoyed every bite of the gyro pita and my bikemates loved the Little Italy and breakfast wrap. I was so impressed with the efficiency and multitasking of the line cooks, taking sandwich orders with a smile while preparing omelets to orde
Small, simple and excellent. We were at a hotel nearby, and decided that here we had breakfasts every time, excellent service, clean, fresh, delicious. Well worth the money (not expensive at all) and much more recommended than all the luxury places there are nearby, definitely great place
