I am the author of the #1 Luxury Guide in DC and I Ricchi is my favorite restaurant! The menu, wine list, and food are sublime. The atmosphere just hugs you. It is also a great date night venue, very romantic. The owner, Chris, is amazingly creative and philanthropic. She comes up with brilliant ideas for interesting events as well as sponsors many charity events. I couldn't recommend this restaurant highly enough....come on facebook....give me 10 stars so I can give them to I Ricchi!
Everything was absolutely wonderful, from the complimentary valet parking to the friendly greeters. I enjoyed every course, the presentation was beautiful, the flavors perfectly balanced and all the desserts were perfection. Make sure you try cannoli and the tiramisu. Our server was amazing very well educated on the menu and made great recommendation to our party, and our drinks never went empty. My compliments to the chef and the great staff.

My daughter won a VIP dinner package. The owner and chef worked their magic on a wonderfully crafted meal.
5 stars to everything — food, atmosphere, service. You feel very welcomed from the moment you enter i Ricchi. Overall, top-notch customer service. We had Calamari Fritti and Fettunta as appetizers, Branzino as entrée, and Fagioli afterwards. Great selection of wines. Thank you and looking forward to visiting you again!
This is a lovely space with well thought out decor. We started our meal with Focaccia and Capesante (scallops appetizer) it was divine with perfectly cooked scallops and pillow soft gnocchi. The sauce was rich and earthy from the wild mushrooms perfect for dabbing up with bread.
Sadly, no dabbing happened as I was not a fan of the focaccia- it was very dry and lacked in the flavor department.
Our entrées: Bistecca alla Fiorentina( NY strip) and the house pasta special with littleneck clam.
The steak was like butter- cooked medium rare, this cut was deliciously prepared and beautifully seasoned. Accompanied with whipped potatoes and haricot verts, this dish was a star.
The pasta on the other hand was uninspiring- looked and tasted like undercooked,
unflavored, packaged ramen noodles. The pasta was tabled.
We completed our meal with a single espresso. Overall, the meal was lovely. We would try again, but perhaps stay away from the pasta.
With a final bill of $200usd, including cocktails, it was a fair dinner.

The waiter was the nicest guy. What we ordered was so great. The scallops, mushrooms, and gnocchi appetizer was phenomenal. My filet was cooked to perfection, and my wifey's pasta was scrumptious. We felt like the most important diner's in the place. Candle lit table in the corner was romantic. We had been here years ago, on our last trip to D.C., and we are so glad we went again. Probably too much provided, and too posh of a place, for the Groupon price. Don't tell them.
Went here for a work dinner and had the peach bellini and it was really good, perfect mix of alcohol and the peach puree, other places usually out too much alcohol and loose the peach flavor. Had the tortellini filled with spinach with the sage butter sauce, the sauce was great but the pasta I still needed to be done a little bit more. We tried all the desserts but their strawberry one was the best one, definitely ask that one!
Very enjoyable. Used a Groupon and it was a ton of very good food. We had the meatballs and caprese, tortelloni and filetto (upcharge but so worth it) and the tiramisu and cheesecake. It seemed many of the patrons were also using a Groupon. I’d recommend it
Seriously some of the best pasta I've ever had.
My family has been going here since I was a kid and we have to come back every-time we're in DC.
The staff is awesome, the appetizers are on point and I just love everything about this place. They always seem to be trying new things and changing up the menu over the years as well, but in a good way.
Couldn't recommend it enough.
Their food made me feel like I was back in Italy again. Best Italian food in Washington DC. Really recommend if you love Italian food and it was the perfect price. Definitely go during the Cherry Blossom Festival because they have the cherry picks menu which is what I got and it was amazing.
Amazing food, amazing service. Our waitress Sophia was amazing.
Great Food and lovely staff. Polpetti a day calamari. Filet mignion and risotto with squash and prawns. The desserts were delicious too. The cake with three cheeses a the semifreddo.
