Kellari Taverna

I left here wondering why more people don’t frequent this restaurant. The food and service were truly outstanding. We were at one of only 5 tables dining during the dinner service, and feel like we tapped into a best kept secret. We started our meal with the Thalassina platter which was plentiful and delightful. It was clear that all of the ingredients were fresh. We also tried the chefs tasting menu and really enjoyed every item from the spanakopita to the salad, with the star of the show being the lamb chops. Both of the staff that we interacted with were warm, friendly, and hospitable. A true pleasure. We look forward to becoming regulars here!

Beautiful spacious restaurant and with nice ambiance. More of a 3.5. Service staff was minimal but efficient. We noticed one server waited on most of the tables plus additional staff filling our water and assisting the server. They were efficient and still service with a smile. Portions were generous and seafood was fresh... did I say generous portions? Spanakopita-was a little well done. Natural chicken- chicken was a little dry, mashed potatoes were good. Seafood grill- generous portions of calamari, shrimp and octopus. Would have been better served as an appetizer to share with a group since it doesn't come with sides and so much of it. Brussel sprouts- tasty but a little mushy. The place appears upscale and prices reflect that but I was confused with the paper napkins. Overall it's a nice place for seafood, drinks and service.

Today (9/9/23) was the 4th time my wife & I have dined here for brunch. My wife had the calamari (grilled) for her appetizer and the seafood linguine for her main. I had the soup of the day (carrot) and the salmon Benedict. There was ample calamari in the appetizer. It was tasty. My wife enjoyed the linguine. It came with 3 good-sized shrimp. The carrot soup was silky and very tasty. The salmon Benedict was good. The 2 eggs were poached perfectly. We both took our desserts home (cheesecake) because our stomachs were satisfied from the first 2 courses and a few mimosas. Our server, Lucas, was attentive, personable, and professional. His service level was consistent with all the tables. He was the only server on shift and was very proficient; kudos to him. We will definitely be back a 5th time.

Been to Ukrainian fundraising dinner and I must say they did a great job! The food was amazing, the waiters were on top at all times even though the tavern was fully booked and the entertainment program was also cool! Loved how the singers added a modern twist! Love places where owners have social awareness! Will definitely be coming again!

Celebrated a Birthday Dinner here with Friends and Family. We ordered to our heart’s content and nothing was less than superb! I can honestly profess the Octopus app is the best I have ever encountered. The flavors, textures and presentation was spot on. I can’t stop talking about it! Everything was Fresh! Most people ordered Lamb Shank, which was unreal! Nevertheless, I am going to argue the Seafood options are truly the star of the show at Kellari! Greek wines paired perfectly! Seafood Entrees demanded a glass of Assyrtiko and the Wine List had several fantastic labels to choose from! I will say the cocktails could have been jazzed up with some garnishes to step up the presentation factor, but that would be my only critique! A minimal one at that! No regrets spending my Celebratory evening here! I highly recommend! ** Please Note: we parked in the garage located next to the restaurant and everyone had complications trying to leave the garage as the gate did not respond to the paid ticket. Just be prepared to call the after hour service number listed for the garage.
