The food was great and the table service was good for the amount of people who were in the bar. The only downside is they needed more people working the bar, we were passed over about 9 times before we were waited on but the bartender was very apologetic & very friendly. Place looks great inside.

The atmosphere is great. A reasonable beer selection. We were there for a reception and the staff did an excellent job serving the crowd and keeping the food stocked. The food was tasty but not exceptional. I thought the mini shepherd pies were a unique food and fit the pub very well.

I had a beet salad with lots of substitutions. #allergygirl had avocado, oranges and walnuts changed to almonds and pears. While the flavor was good the salad was a bit limp. The pita looks great until you turned it over... it was very burned. They did make it right and the next one was soft and perfect. The service was terrible our drinks (tea and water) were never refilled. Even after I asked. It was trivia night and that was fun!

Irish pub, expect Guinness, cocktails and Irish pub food. Nothing to be disappointed about here, the food is good, the happy hour generous, and the service efficient. Multiple TVs to follow sports. Bonus point for all the Guinness based drinks!

I love this place! The food is wonderful. A good selection of tasty appetizers and main courses. Not typical bar food. Definitely classier items. Of course the bar menu is very nice, with a good selection of beers and drinks in general. The atmosphere is definitely one of a kind. A combination of old country European pub and slightly fancier digs. While still a great place to come and watch a game. Like I said, I love this place.

Love their fish and chips, they were best I have had in a very long time. Fish was fresh and batter was crisp and golden and not oily! Big portions and good prices, another thing we tried was their Lamb dip, oh my gosh! My kids inhaled it in a matter of seconds, it was so good, but I wouldn't trade it for my fish and chips, however next time we are her I'll get me that sandwich. We also tried their Sheppard's pie and it was ok, nothing special but lots of mash potatoes and very little meat, so if you're a potatoes liver, this might be your dish, everything was very appealing to the eye. Ambiance was good, big place, nice bar which by the way was very busy. Our server was nowhere to be found, but there was another server very proactive and friendly that took care of us even check on us when we weren't even one of her tables! Over all I like this place and we'll be back. I should add that you might want to try their brownie, is was very good!

Today was the day my friend and I discovered the Chicken Boxty Quesadillas. No tortillas here. Instead, Mexican-flavored chicken filling is served inside Irish potato pancakes. If you love latkes, you should try these delicious appetizers. The fish and chips were crispy and not greasy. We'll have to come back on a Friday when they're BOGO. I hope some day they'll bring back the Boxty entree. Not a light lunch, but it was so good.

A nice, standard Irish pub in downtown DC. Many choices of Guinness beer among many other drinks. The roasted red pepper hummus appetizer tastes great if you are looking for a snack! The service was a bit slow, but overall it has a pleasant atmosphere.
