Matchbox is my spot every single time I am in DC. Service is impeccable, Food is amazing and Prices are reasonable. This last time we visited for Brunch for My Daughter's Birthday. Our server surprised her with a Birthday treat and it was amazing. If you love good food and amazing service you will not be disappointed.

Outstanding, delicious food! Our server “T” was excellent and so was the manager. Very friendly with good food advice. 6 of us at outside. Chicken and waffles were amazing, poke bowl was awesome and my friends that got the pizza and apple salad were all happy with their choices. And you just start with the spinach dip. Amazing!

The staff was exceptional upon entry. We were served quick as well. When our food hit the table I was floored! It was gorgeous! The presentation was beautiful. The food was hot. The taste was out of this world. I was so impressed. I took a chance on an unknown restaurant and sooooo glad I did. I will be back in the future ❤️😘

Our waitress Mis was awesome. We absolutely loved the food and the atmosphere as well. It was our last stop while in Washington DC and we were really glad that we went there. My food was great and my fiancé enjoyed his pizza a lot! The service was quick and efficient!

Matchbox seems like a great option for a casual dining experience with delicious food and a fun atmosphere.
LOVED my pesto & chicken pizza.
The service was very good and it wasn't crowded anyway.
Would definitely go back again.
Parking was ok, bcz we went on a weekday, maybe!

This was our first time at Matchbox.
The menu looked inviting to us with"selective eating habits". We shared a delicious pizza and also shared a Caesar salad. We also liked our choices for an adult beverage.
I would highly recommend this restaurant before heading to the Arena for an event!

We dine in or take out from this place at least twice a month for years. It's usually reliably good and reasonably priced. Their onion straws are a brilliant addition to any order. Their pizzas are a star act, and we always order at least one for the night. Their salads are pleasant and their burgers are classic. Their calamari is crispy and tender. Their entrees are uneven. They recently, tragically, removed all our favorite desserts from their menu, including all chocolate options. We pray they come to their senses soon.

I had brunch here with friends. We did the bottomless mimosas and had the bottle at the table which I always appreciate. The food was tasty and service great for a Saturday.

Wow! Blown away by this restaurant! The service was outstanding! He was from Maryland- I forgot his name but he was the nicest waiter! My son loved his pasta. My salmon was SO good. It honestly was the best dish I had all week visiting. Incredible flavor! The spinach dip was fresh & everything about tonight was incredible! It was extremely clean & so cute inside!

For me Matchbox is a great pub with good pub food. The IPA 🍺 from the tap makesa good combination with the pizzas or steaks 🥩.
This outlet is conveniently located just a few blocks from the Mall and all the Smithsonian Museums and I popped in between the museums visits. Love it and will definitely return 👍🏼

Super friendly and attentive staff and service! Came by after visiting museums and we had a large group of 8 (no reservations made by us). They told us 30 minutes but we were seated in less time than that. Our server was super and offered suggestions and options without us even asking! With such a large group (kids and adults), there was something for everyone in the menu. The kids also LOVED the artichoke & spinach dip - glad we got 2 for our table and the server gave us one with bread and one with chips, but I think the bread was phenomenal with the dip. I would definitely come here after a long day at the packed museums and take a load off and get some good food & drinks.
