Excellent Belgium food. The poached eggs and salmon for brunch was delicious. It was an interesting take on salmon eggs Benedict. Instead of English muffin, the poached eggs, bernaise sauce, and salmon was on top of bread cubes. The whole thing mixed together with asparagus had a light and delicate flavor. The cappacinno was served in a very interesting cup. It was a bit milky but I liked it. The service was good but it was a busy Saturday and we didn't require much service. Overall, excellent food and a nice, relaxing experience, with a contemporary vibe.

This was my second time here but first time for brunch. Had high expectations based on my dinner experience and wasn't let down. Customer service was great - Kaylie and Rinata are wonderful and took very good care of us. We ordered a selection of dishes - doffle(waffle donut), the coddled egg in the bokaal and pictured is the authentic liege waffle - Pearl sugar waffle/wine poached pear/Speculoos crème brûlée/Lavender honey - SCRUMPTIOUS! I've seen some reviews the complain about the speed of service, please keep in mind that they make everything to order. Depending on your food selection this may take a little time but personally I prefer my food to be fresh so this doesn't bother me. Also, I saw there were people who weren't happy with the customer service and I'm sorry they had that experience. Each time I've been there I've had two people taking care of our table making sure everything met with our satisfaction. If your on the fence, give them a try. It is worth it.

I almost don't want to tell you... utterly fantastic cooking! There was such utter balance in flavors and perfect classic preparation that I had to make a fuss and congratulate the working chef and line cook (the hands that made that fish). The Pea soup would have been considered bland if you didn't dip to the bottom for the chorizo that perfectly spiced the soup. The olive oil on top added texture but did not dominate or take away from flavor of peas and chorizo. Nothing was over done rather perfectly balanced. The salmon was just perfect. Look at the photo and see that the skin was presented. Not an single burnt piece but thoroughly crisped like the finish on Peking duck skin. Tender flesh on a bed of cauliflower and quinoa couscous. (And I don't like cauliflower since childhood). The broccolini offered a fabulous tang from the grill and there was no need for citrus as the beurre blanc sauce had a wonderful lemon touch. There was nothing in excess except for perfect balance. I was impressed and will go back again. Thank you for making me happy. There is a full Belgian menue that I will explore later. Yes adult beverages are available.

Our server Richardo was amazing. We had a very large party and Richardo really held it down. He saw us kind Of cramped at our initial table and he moved us without us even having to ask. He really took care of us. All of our food was out fast and it was excellent, we had no issues with that. The restaurant was very nicely designed and decorated. Upstairs has a bar and is kind of chill and the down stairs also has a bar and feels a little more fancy. I will definitely be coming back and asking for Richardo.

Great atmosphere and selection of Belgian beers:) And smoked cod is to die for! The cauliflower custard ads such a distinct taste that I wouldn't have imagined. Tried it during the restaurant week and it was the best cod I've eaten:) Also try the cheese croquettes as an appetizer and be ready for an interesting presentation!

Went for Restaurant week so can only comment on that. Over all good experience. Beer was good, atmosphere nice, but the waitress seemed overworked and stressed (which makes me stressed) and the main courses weren’t that good. BUT the appetizers were amazing. I’d come back just for those and a beer. We sat inside because of the heat and it smelt like wood fire which I LOVED, but could be overwhelming. I love Belgian beer so there options were a huge draw but so many triples on draft meant choices were limited if that’s not your thing. Dessert was very “progressive”/fancy but felt overwhelming. So, overall (with restaurant week in mind) is come across town for a HH and first course, but not much more than that.

The Doffle sandwich is the best thing I’ve ever eaten in my life. The atmosphere is amazing! Aesthetically pleasing and the food was great. Coffee was watery and gross though and literally $4 for a tiny mug.

One of the few places that serves breakfast in this area. Menu is truly gourmet while being reasonably priced. The waffles are so light and fluffy. They also make rheir own donuts. The coddled agg has a mixes vwv mash on bottom with hollandaise foam on top (that's the one served in a mason jar). Weekend brunch is great. Tried the cornmeal waffle w pulled pork.Sooooo good!

I went for an early birthday lunch and enjoyed the DC Restaurant Week special menu. I had the pumpkin soup, the salad with chicken, candied nuts, fruit, red onions, and balsamic , and shared desserts_ bread pudding and sweet Belgian waffle with red pears. Everything was divine. Our service was excellent. It was bright and cozy inside.
