Absolutely incredible meal! Came here with my brother and great aunt and uncle and I was really blown away. I had the privilege of being in Paris this past summer and when I tell you the quality of this meal met the quality of what I ate in Paris, I was shocked. So hard to find in the US! The veal s
Beef tartare was excellent. Fries that came with tartare was also crisp and to the point. Also loved their escargots were well seasoned with tomato sauce. Soup was enough for two people to share.
A friend and I ate outdoors on a Saturday evening. We had duck breast and sweetbreads with mushrooms. Both were excellent. The order of yellow and green bean salad with shallots and vinaigrette was equally delicious. We split an order of canalees for dessert. That came with creme anglaise. The Fren
Excellent service. Excellent food. Aesthetically pleasing. Prices are as expected. I had a glass of Syrah, Gazpacho, Merguez Grillees, and a glass of Jurancon for dessert because I couldn't eat another bite. I will be back.
A fabulous lunch and experience today! Food and wine, the best! We had the trout and risotto with shrimp and house wine with the apricot dessert!
Interior design as a real French dining experience, the duck is marvelous and the service is friendly and efficient
I really recommend their duck breast dish, and the mashed potato that it comes with is also super creamy and delicious. Their frites are also very good.
Wonderful bistro experience at La Piquette, felt like I was in Le Marais district while being in Cleveland Park DC. Delicious bistro fare, all the favorites and the bread, OMG - the best warm crunchy baguette you’ll find. Service was attentive, cozy absence, splendid wine list - affordable and quite
We picked outdoor seating on a cold and windy April Sunday... That was our mistake, I guess. We eventually switched the tables and the heater effect was better there. The place is not too big inside and feels noisy when fully filled up. The food is good although pricey. Eggs Benedict is $17. Excell
I've had dinner there more than ten times and not a single dish was anything less than excellent. Staff are very friendly and atmosphere is great. Price is a bit high, but actually a good deal overall especially for dc
Excellent French place! Very similar to my actual Paris experience. Portions are small (as they should be, like in France). And some people would find it pricy. But this gives you an opportunity to try more items per meal and still feel ok, not “thanksgiving-dinner-full”. I tried beer tartar, whi
Food is delicious. Service was slow. It's a relatively small dining room tightly packed so it could be difficult to have conversations pending where you sit. But a wonderful French restaurant.
I dined here with my family last night and I very rarely write reviews but I'm still thinking about my meal this morning. I had the Short Ribs entree and I have to admit that I purposefully ate very slow so I could savor every bite. It was absolutely incredible! I can't wait to go back! Service
We loved our dinner last Friday in La Piquette! Very good French restaurant and not too expensive! David and our server made us feel at home since the very first minute. The beef tartar was probably one of the best we've ever tried and the duck a l'orange was delicious! We wholeheartedly recommend t
Aw! It's was delicious! Food was amazing, fresh, and presentation was imaginative. Short ribs were cooked to perfection. Delicious French wine. Attentive service. Wonderful!
This is a relatively small restaurant that serves excellent French food. I had a coque au vin that was simply delicious. Tables are pretty close to each other which made for a somewhat noisy environment.
