Circa is an energetic American restaurant located in Foggy Bottom, known for its seasonal menus and inviting patio. During my initial visit, the vibrant atmosphere, diverse R&B music, and ample indoor and enclosed outdoor seating impressed me. The service, however, was average; our waiter lacked eng

A good Fried Chicken Sandwich ($18) with lots of sweet potato fries. It's crowded at lunchtime, so if you want to sit at a table it's a good idea to make a reservation. Conveniently located across the street from the Foggy Bottom Metro.

Got an early dinner outside, nice breeze and noise level was perfect. Mock tails were AMAZING. I got the trout and it was flavorful and delicious. Server was very attentive and friendly but still left us to catch up and relax. Would absolutely go there again!
We were catching a plane and only had one hour before leaving, but the restaurant prepared our food so fast that we got to enjoy the food without rushing ourselves. The overall ambience was cozy and inviting, and the shotgun shrimp was absolutely the best!
