This was my first time coming to this restaurant and it did not disappoint. The drinks I admit could be a tad bit stronger but the food tasted fresh, came quickly and was delicious. My server was wonderful!, she came by several times to check in on us, refilled our waters and asked if we wanted another drink.
The ambiance isn’t bad and I love the fact that this location has a mixed crowd. Overall, it is on the pricier side but I would definitely patronize this restaurant again in the near future.

A good Fried Chicken Sandwich ($18) with lots of sweet potato fries. It's crowded at lunchtime, so if you want to sit at a table it's a good idea to make a reservation. Conveniently located across the street from the Foggy Bottom Metro.

The food was decent here, I didn’t have any complaints, I just wasn’t wow’d by the flavors. The servers were kind, but not super attentive. I would go here again, but maybe not alone as larger parties were checked on more.

Circa is an energetic American restaurant located in Foggy Bottom, known for its seasonal menus and inviting patio. During my initial visit, the vibrant atmosphere, diverse R&B music, and ample indoor and enclosed outdoor seating impressed me. The service, however, was average; our waiter lacked engagement and missed the opportunity to guide us through the menu as first-time diners.
Despite this, the food was a standout, with dishes arriving promptly and piping hot. The wagyu sliders were a highlight (note: contains pork), and the Almond Crusted Rainbow Trout scored a perfect 10/10. We also savored the Four Cheese Macaroni and the delectable Blackened Chicken Mango. The menu offered reasonable prices and a broad selection of alcoholic beverages.

Circa restaurant definitely served the goody pill. We came here right after coming from the Kennedy Center. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves We would suggest everything on the menu. I'll waitress was very friendly and they allowed us to stay extra late. We just soaked up the atmosphere and the fun. My wife declared that the music was on point as well. Bravo to the chefs here.

Excellent restaurant in Washington DC, right in front of the George Washington University Hospital, at the Foggy Bottom Metro Station. Easy to arrive there, the restaurant have great options in the menu. I strongly recommend the trout with the almond crust. The white chocolate cheesecake is also wonderful. The best restaurant I went in Washington DC.

We were catching a plane and only had one hour before leaving, but the restaurant prepared our food so fast that we got to enjoy the food without rushing ourselves. The overall ambience was cozy and inviting, and the shotgun shrimp was absolutely the best!

Great restaurant with American fare including some great cocktails with a nice covered outdoor patio.
We had the old fashioned and black Manhattan and they were both great, also the food was good but we only had appetizers.
Great place to eat if you are in the neighborhood and want a place that appeals to a large audience.

Got an early dinner outside, nice breeze and noise level was perfect. Mock tails were AMAZING. I got the trout and it was flavorful and delicious. Server was very attentive and friendly but still left us to catch up and relax. Would absolutely go there again!

Fantastic experience. Sofia was super friendly and attentive, and went the extra mile in accommodating for food allergies and making a special occasion even more special. Appetizers and entrees were hot and fresh from the uniquely spiced “Shotgun Shrimp” appetizer to the really tasty turkey burger. Go here if you’re in Foggy Bottom. All around awesome restaurant!
