El Tequila

We were on a mission to find authentic and delicious Mexican food and El Tequila did not disappoint! The staff was fabulous, the ambiance was on point and the food was outstanding! Prices are comparable to fast food places, yet the quality is 5-star restaurant. My only wish is that we would visit more often.

Our server came to the table 3 time, to take our drink order, drink drop off/food order and then to drop off our food which she mixed our plates up. I liked the food ok, my boyfriend was not impressed as his burrito had to be constructed by himself, and the tortillas were street taco size. His beer and my water never got refilled or offered to be. Had to go to counter to get my ticket. They were not busy it was us and a mother son duo that was all that was in there. Salsa was OK.

El Tequila Mexican Grill and Cantina in Waseca, Minnesota was very welcoming and the service by our waiter was outstanding! The menu has a large variety of food. I ordered a Beef Chimichanga with a Beef Enchilada. We were served chips and salsa. The food was great! At the end, we noticed someone ordered deep fried ice cream. So we had to try it as well. Oh, now that was amazing! I will definately be back. And for added fun, they host every Saturday night bingo for a fundraising event at 7 p.m.

Very friendly and inviting! Best salsa around hands down. Best rice and beans. Very authentic. Great service, extremely child friendly, very attentive, great food, i enjoyed a pork burrito with chunks of pork marinated in an amazing green tamatillo sauce, every bite i took melted and just fell apart perfectly in mouth, also at the table we had telquila machoes, which were steak nachos just loaded with steak and tomatoes and cilantro and other perfectly proportioned veggies. They were very accommodating for the child at the table who wanted steak and fries for the night, they were able to grill up steak just right for her and served a large side of fries with it. Very happy.
