Chateau Hathorn

My husband and I had our wedding here. It was magnificently done. The owners are lovely people who do an extraordinary job, the staff is amazing. Since our wedding we have returned several times for dinner. The food and service can not be beat. It seems to get better every time we go. It is our favorite destination for an exquisite meal.

We visited Chateau Hathorn for my birthday in September. I'm hard to please, and I wanted something unique and memorable for dinner - and I got it! We (a family of 4 with kids) came on Thursday night and enjoyed their prix fixed dinner with 3 courses, wine and desert. We came a little early and walked around the mansion a little bit enjoying the views and the air. Inside, we were greeted by the chef's daughter and hostess and seated. Service was a bit slow, but very friendly. We tried a variety of dishes and all were pretty good. The desserts may need to be improved, but overall it was a very nice dinner. But the most memorable moment was when we got to meet the chef himself and the kitchen - we chatted and he also showed us the wine cellar that he built himself - it's an amazing space and they offer private dinners there. There's a lot of charm in this place, coupled with a long family history - and we're happy to have met them. Highly recommend this place and will be back myself.

We had the welcome reception for our wedding here with ~100 people. Have nothing but great things to say about Chateau Hathorn - incredibly beautiful + intimate venue (both indoors/outdoors), a great team that treated us and all our guests like family, and delicious food that impressed a diverse crowd. Helene and her team were amazing with all the small details and made our event significantly less stressful. We also had guests staying in every room throughout the weekend - everyone enjoyed that too...comfortable beds, great water pressure on the showers, and unique furnishing/layouts. Would recommend to anyone looking for a venue for a special occasion.

What an amazing experience. The staff was attentive and engaging. We were given the option of where we would like to sit and chose the alcove so we could enjoy the sunset. It was stunning. The ambiance was an excellent addition to our dining experience. The wine cellar is full of a variety of choices to suit any taste or budget. The food was expertly prepared and presented. We look forward to returning many more times.
