This place is so unique. Trees are indoors and there are so many rooms to explore. We enjoyed the meal but be warned the Korean beef is marinated in soy sauce. If you don’t like salt then this isn’t for you. Our server was friendly and efficient. The homemade salad dressings were amazing.
This is a must place to experience. My husband and I went on our anniversary. As soon as we walked in the door we were captivated. It was like walking into another world. It is absolutely beautiful. The staff is so friendly. Our waitress Amanda was on point. Very sweet and attentive. The food was incredible. From the cheese dip & fresh veggies, the bacon wrapped scallops, the fresh salad, 12 oz sirloin (cooked to a perfect medium), chicken breast stuffed with spinach drizzled in cheese sauce and oh the garlic mashed potatoes. You definitely will not leave hungry. Worth every penny. This is now our go to place for dining out. Definitely beats out the the big chain restaurants. Can't wait to bring our family and friends.
Always an excellent dining experience at this unique restaurant and winery. Do the wine tasting and visit the gift shop before dinner. This is a fun way to get to know the place and sample wines because you will for sure want to order a bottle before your meal. The Black Knight Cabernet is a good wine to pair with steak. The service is always exceptional. I can't recommend they ounce bacon wrapped filet enough. Visit in December or for New Year's eve for marvelous old world decor and a superbly festive atmosphere.
I enjoyed our family dinner here. The wine is phenomenal. I really like that the stuffed mushrooms can be battered or regular. I've been back about three times just to get a bottle of wine since they sell it separately and some of their delicious cheese spread. Don't hesitate to have a fancy night out here.
I’ve been to Country Squire several times over the years, but this was my first time staying overnight. The atmosphere, service and food were all fantastic. I cannot recommend the “Vintage Package” enough!
Love Love Love this place!! Haven’t been there in years and we went for my birthday didn’t disappoint!! The wine tasting was awesome and the gentleman that served us was very knowledgeable on all their wines and very friendly!! Our table was ready at our reservation time we sat right down and the service was excellent even though they were fairly busy! Food was out in a timely manner and was cooked and seasoned to perfection!! This is a must go to place if you live near by or if you live further they have a inn you can stay the night also!! 5 stars if you haven’t been there you need to for sure!!! Will be making another visit soon!
One of the oldest and best restaurants in North Carolina. Been coming here since 1979 and it never gets old. Food is as great today as it was then. Steaks are always cooked just right!
Great food, very friendly staff, really cool wine tasting experience. We did a wine tasting with Rod, he was very nice and very informative!
Fantastic place. Amanda served us and was wonderful with everything. Iris was over to check in on anything else. Atmosphere is phenomenal. We had a wine tasting prior to dinner that was amazing as well. Definitely be back often!
Everything was wonderful about this establishment. The food was delicious- steak cooked to perfection, the staff was very friendly and provided excellent service, and the atmosphere was exactly what we expected. Hopefully next time we go we can get there early enough to enjoy the gift shop and winery. This was a well deserved 5 stars all around.
