Foster's Grille

Have never eaten here because we are from out of town. We came in after a major storm tonight because it seemed to be the only restaurant with power. We were so impressed by the staff staying friendly despite the crowds. The food came out in a reasonable time and was cooked perfectly. We really appreciate how hard everybody worked.

Fosters is consistently good for American comfort food. Good burgers and dogs, wings, etc. We are here once ever week to two weeks. The service is good and parking is plentiful. It’s a bit of a pain to get out of the parking lot. Can be a little crazy on game days because it’s a popular location for local sports teams. If you want a good burger I’d recommend.

I used to love Foster's. They have changed and not for the better. Granted their interior is five stars better than it used to be, but their burgers, well mainly the buns, are always cold. It is almost like they chill them. Who wants a cold bun for a nice burger? I asked for the bun to be grilled, thinking this will solve the problem. They grilled the outside of the bun! What is wrong with buttering the cut portion of the bun and grilling that, so it provides, not only a wall to help it from getting soggy, but also provides you with a soft warm bun.

My friend and I were pleasantly surprised by our experience at Foster's Grille. We sat at the bar and ordered burgers. It is a unique experience where you fill out a slip with your order. The burgers were good but nothing special which is the reason for the four star review. We loved the fries. We had hoped that they would have a bigger beer list but were happy to see local options available. The service was great. We will be back!
