Denim & Pearls Restaurant

My wife and I visited Denim And Pearls on two ocassions and in both cases, the food was spectacular. Neither had the most comfortable seating options, with us being placed right next to an outside door the second time. Fortunately, that was about the only real downside. Both our meals and appetizers were phenomenal in each instance and aside from a varied wine list, several excellent cocktails were offered as well. Our second meal was on a *very* busy evening, however, that did not bother us at all - the food was good and we don't particularly like being rushed through things. On the slower night, conversely, we felt a bit whisked in and out. Despite timetables and actual tables themselves, each dish was simple and delicious: steak, shrimp, pasta, grits - all were spot on and will certainly bring us back to try other offerings. If I had wanted a faster, cheaper meal - elsewhere would've suited us better. But we left both times smiling and satisfied and that's the five-star metric for me!

We had a great time here last night. Stevie was awesome! The food was all so great, I don't think you could go wrong with anything on the menu, but I had the fresh catch of the day which was rockfish. It was amazing! I also enjoyed the orange blossom margarita. It was busy and lively on a Saturday night, definitely recommend reservations if you're looking to come here on the weekend. Can't wait to come back 🥰

I'm kicking myself for not taking any photos, but sometimes you're just in the moment and you act like a regular person 😂 We had reservations for 7:30 on a Tuesday. It was pretty packed, so I highly recommend making reservations. The atmosphere is upscale casual, no need to get dressed up, but you'll fit right in if you are. We were seated on the roof patio, which was perfect for the weather. My only complaint was that the tables had clearly not been cleaned, as ours was covered in a thick layer of pollen. Other than that oversight, everything was lovely. We were greeted quickly by a very friendly server, and our food arrived in perfect timing. We started with the crab and artichoke dip, which was pretty good, but the entrees really shined. We got a perfectly medium-rare tuna steak, and the shrimp and sausage Cajun pasta, the star of the show. I'd return just for that dish.

We went tonight (3/3/22) to try the new menu items and we were not disappointed. We started with the crab and artichoke dip, which was excellent. I had the manicotti with Italian sausage and the wife had rockfish. Both were delicious. For dessert we had the new lemon raspberry cake which was amazing. The service there, as always was top-notch. Tyler always makes sure everything is perfect. If you haven't been lately, you should definitely go try the new items.
