I like this diner! I only get on this side of town once a year. Many of the employees are long term. Which to me is a good sign.
Bring your patience and be kind to the workers, as they have been hit with lack of staff too. But, the food is always fresh and customer service is with a smile.
This place is always busy with dine in guests and/or customers waiting on take out.

The ham sandwich is really good The customer service could be a little bit better The sandwich was like $7 I gave them a 10 told them to keep the change as a tip but there was a waiter speaking to me and another waiter cut her off and answered the question that the other waiter was asking me in the first place. In this place I felt like I had no voice on top of that I'm already recovering from covid and having a sick and sore throat so I just let things be I'm not with the drama.

Dan's Diner was fantastic the food was great, the biscuits and gravy are actually homemade not from a can and it was actually very very good. I will be returning there. I can't remember the waitress's name that we had but she was fantastic if she reads this review it was the four sisters I gather that she took care of and she was awesome. Keep up the awesome food and service.

Best breakfast in Macomb/Oakland County. Great food quality, great portion size, decent prices and great service. There usually is a wait for your food order if dining in because of the popularity of this diner, but it is well worth it. The atmosphere is a little loud, but very welcoming. A great place to have a great breakfast experience with the family. Very relaxed atmosphere where you can talk a little loud, have some good hearty laughs and have yourself a good time with family and friends.. and as an added bonus..They have cheesy potatoes if you don't want hash browns, but get there early or they will run out! The cheesy potatoes are so delicious.

Wow. The food was so good that my friend tipped the cook! Seriously! We had breakfast & it was perfection. Great waitress, pretty busy place. Don't pass on this restaurant! It's a little out of my way but I will be back.

Stopped here on the way home traveling and really enjoyed it. The food was delicious, everything was made to order. The wait was a little longer than expected but totally worth it. Staff was friendly although they were very busy. If I'm ever in Michigan again I will definitely be going to check them out again AND again.

Went here on 2 occasions with 2 separate people. First time my friend ordered chicken wings and they weren't cooked properly. She asked for a refund and was given a huge attitude from the cashier. Second time I went with another friend and she ordered a club sandwich that they charged 12 bucks for (no fries), she ordered a drink during the pickup exchange and was charged 3 bucks for that! Then the girl copped an attitude because my friend didn't leave a tip, when it was a carryout
