Sweetbakes Cafe

Jennifer is INCREDIBLE. I contacted her the week of my son's second birthday needing a cake with trains on it, and other places told me I needed a month in advance to order. Jennifer said she could put something together and I was so grateful. What she "put together" was absolutely above and beyond. She is a master at her craft and my mother in law said it was the best cake she has ever tasted. It was as delicious as it was beautiful.

We could not have been happier with the wedding cake that was designed for us! Everyone LOVED the mousse flavor and the fact that my husband could also order a pineapple layer (his favorite) for the top made it even more special. My husband (who hates, literally, cake) said the cake might convince him to change his opinion as it was the best cake he's ever had. The cake was amazing on all accounts. Definitely if you are looking for a baker in the area for your wedding, book Sweetbakes Cafe. They will not disappoint.

I was excited to try the new Eastdale Village location. I ordered a savory crepe and it came with powdered sugar (along with avocado, egg, balsamic vinegar). I called the store to let them know and the manager was defensive and refused to offer any refund or future coupon. A disappointing start and not somewhere I'll be returning to.

Such a cute new spot!! Coffee is delicious and waffles are drool-worthy. I think pricing is fair for a new local business, and there's really nothing like it around. Plus they have options for both breakfast and lunch which is nice. I also got a custom cake from Jenny for my cousin's wedding and she did an amazing job! Talented, kind family and I will definitely be back for more

We got a matcha latte, coconut Carmel latte, and a GF lemon bar. The cocmel latte was absolutely delicious and so was the lemon bar! The only thing that was disappointing was the matcha latte…it was pale almost yellow like color so not very good matcha. Other than that though everything else was great! If they could just get better matcha and put more in the drink!

Buffalo Soulja for the WIN. So savory so mouth-watering. Absolutely delicious. And with a hot latte... this is my favorite breakfast hands down. Except when I want something sweet, then it’s Berry Magic. They always have rotating specials too which is awesome. Love this spot and Bobby and Jenny are truly the best. It’s fun seeing her bake her specialty cakes behind the counter. Such a joy being here every day I cannot recommend highly enough!!
